This is aimed primarily to the people who have particles set to minimum.
Potions give off particles, right? But wouldn't it be easier to distinguish someone's potion effects if they has a colored throb?
This throb is similar to the red hurt animation, but it fades in and out instead. The color of the throb is determined by the potion (colors taken from the wiki):
Regen: Pink
Swiftness: Light blue
Fire Resist: Orange
Healing: None
Night Vision: Dark blue
Strength: Brown
Leaping: Green
Water Breathing: Blue
Invisibility: A very transparent light gray
Poison: yellow-green
Weakness: Gray-green
Slowness: Gray-blue
Harming: None
Other potion "effects" That you can't get from potions, like hunger, withering, or haste, also have these kinds of throbs:
Hunger: Green-brown
Haste: Dark-Yellow
Mining Fatigue: Dark Khaki
Nausea: Purple
Resistance: Mahogany
Blindness: Dark gray
Wither: Black
Health Boost/Absorption: Yellow
Very interesting, I just wonder what happens when players have 2 or more effects, do the throbs change like, it flashes a Brown throb, then a Dark-Blue throb? Support anyway
