Hello,

This is something that everyone probably has already thought of since the most recent update... but here you go. With the new dyes I propose clothes. You might ask why? Because we love to decorate our avatars, its fun.

Here is a concept image for clothes items:



Some possible uses:
(1) in-game personalization of your avatar.
(2) In Multi-player games, players can easily join team based spleef matches by wearing a different uniform.
(3) Specialist Taylor shops can be constructed!
(4) ...Imagination leaves no Bounds!

I no people say... "Just change your player skin!" well that requires you to log off and go through several steps to upload another skin... With clothes, people can do it on the fly, change their minds often, all in-game.

The Crafting Recipes
As far as clothes go, they would mimic the crafting patterns of armor. I expect the clothing would have little to no armor value, maybe 1/2 that of leather. The intention is not to go hunting monsters in your new clothes... With the 16 new color dyes, and four pieces of clothing/armor (head, body, legs, feet)... this means a total of 64 new craft-able items

That is an excellent idea, especially as dye can only be used on wool/sheep, and dyed wool can only be used for decoration. It would put a whole new feel to multiplayer and (possibly) enable new game modes.

I think this sounds good, for all of the reasons you describe.

This is want. At least different colored hats so people can make army uniforms, (like the Romans). So yes If noth can fit this in the item list.

I like to be different (at least try to be different) so variety is always a good thing.

I would say that this should happen but the item list would be getting too filled. (64 items if all put ingame) I like the idea, but prehaps for space reasons only have red, blue, yellow, and white (and maybe black).

I'd like to see these, but I'd prefer they not be on the same layer as armor, it would essentially temporarily edit your skin.

Actually, the way that the LEAF blocks work is in-game shading with a different color. All that would be needed is a single white version with a data flag that told it what color to shade to. There would still need to be a batch of crafting recipes... however one of the things that makes this game fun!

Here's a type of clothing or armour that would be cool a glass helm for under water

But I totally agree with you on the colour clothes

I think the blue shoes should have a special name *cough* Blue Suede Shoes *cough*

i think that by mixing some colors up you should be able to make a tuxedeo and add a recipe for top hat monecle and gloves (just for rich gut outfit and just a bit more damage when wearing)

You also brought up some uses I didn't think of, such as team jerseys for spleef. Mainly, it seems like an odd omission there's no wool armor analog.
