Hello!
I think they should add a story mode/campain mode to Minecraft! I think this would be a nice feature to the game, that would enhance your gameplay! In world generation you can select Campain Mode/Story Mode and turn it on. I dont know if you agree with me but i enjoy this idea!
This suggestion is overly vague. How would this story mode work? What would the story be? And most importantly: why does Minecraft, a Sandbox game, need a story?!
Many sandbox games have storylines. The Grand Theft Auto and Just Cause franchises for an example. (Two very popular sandboxes in the industry)
But Minecraft has pretty much gotten to the point that it is by not having a story, and giving the player freedom to create their own story.

um sorry but this just would not work with minecraft now some games work best with storys (the last of us uncharted gears of war) others its not really need (call of duty battle field most shooters) but minecraft is not the game that needs a story,
but what type of story would even work? a dumb story thats really there just for laughs (sunset over drive) or a story that has depth and makes you care (the last of us) but i really cant think of one story that would even go good with it.

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
For me, the storyline would basically follow Steve through his first days, first contact with a village and even build up to the first trip to the Nether to gather needed equipment, and then head into the End to fight the Ender Dragon. Perhaps even having side quests given by random villagers. Try the mod Legend of Notch. That is basically my idea of a true campaign in Minecraft.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

That sounds like a neat idea! I was just thinking of a Villager who gives you quests that you do for items and whatnot.

Okay, first off all, i would like more detail, like what type of quests/missions there would be. and second off all, there are already achivements, which in my opinion already gives you some quests or things to work towards.
Locking as vague. Please put as much detail into your suggestions as possible.
