Well there are many different opinions on what should be changed in vanilla Minecraft but one of the biggest battlegrounds is The Nether.
More than half the content of the nether is located within the Nether Fortress Which can sometimes take tons of time to get to and so on herp derp derp. Nether fortresses area hassle and get boring after a while Its been close to 2 years since 1.5 came out and added quartz to to the Nether. 2 FREAKIN YEARS and yet all it can do is craft a repeater and some decorative blocks.
So to solve both of those problems why not add Quartz Temples
Here is what I have so far These temples are much more common than Nether fortresses 1 in every 100 chunks They spawn similarly to dessert temples where they can be partially below the ground with just the top sticking up. They have a spawner with either a magma cube, blaze, or a silverfish. There is a portal in the structure (either destroyed or completed) in the loot chest there is obviously the normal nether fortress loots horse armor, saddles, gold, etc but also a chance of a flint and steel and a chance of quartz inside the chest thanks for all the support!
the portal room could either be destroyed or finished.
I really love your design I was very rushed to build it so i didn't put in much thought to building them the only things that i would change are that there should be banners on the front of yours also replace the red glass with iron bars and add the spawner back in
I Think They Should be Added Because It would Add something more to multiplayer and single player Minecraft and I would Love to try and adventure to find one of these "Nether Quartz Temples"
support! i like DerwandelndeTod's build all but the glass that should be irontbars IMO and they should be rarer than 1 in 50 chunks more like 1 in 100 chunks but it would have like diamond blocks as a throne for idk the zombie pigman king or something
other than that FULL SUPPORT!

Meh it doesn't really fit the theme of the Nether to have like beautiful white Greek style structures. While I'd be all for adding new features to it, temples made entirely out of pristine white blocks doesn't really fit to be honest. No support.

To those of you suggesting new uses for Emeralds in the suggestions forum: Emeralds have enough uses. You can trade with villagers to get diamond armor/tools/weapons and enchants. Stop suggesting that Emeralds are useless, and learn to play Minecraft. Thanks.

I have to say the banners should be more plain- a color then a wither skeleton cross bones is all that is needed. There is too much personalized influence.
I wasn't sure what this suggestion was going to be like when I came here.. I thought it might have been another redundant or vague suggestion. (Which I'm a little tired of seeing...) But I actually really like this idea. Maybe some slight changes in the structure, but otherwise 100% Support.
It seems to common and way to op. I like that you can get armor stands but having armor on them would be to much, maybe if there was like a 10% chance to get at the most an iron chest plate etc but not everytime you find one there is armor. This is a good way to get flags without having to actually craft them. 2 anvils is kind of ridiculous, I use anvils quite often and I haven't used more than 3. 2 Anvils are also 6 iron blocks and 8 iron ingots, I think if they had anvils in them there should only be one. Depending on what stuff can spawn in the chest and the percentages of them spawning then that idea is fine. I think these should have like a 1% chance of spawning in a chunk and they can't spawn to close to each other.
Its a nice bit of variety, but put white temples really don't seem to fit with the nether.
Ruined temples, or [semi] collapsed structures would be thematically more fitting.
If you talking nether brick and blaze guardians, then it'll make some pretty sweet additions to the nether fortresses themselves. Right now they're walls/arches and towers with stars/blaze rooms. Some additional architecture would do them good.
->As a separate structure all you doing is depreciating the value of nether forts; its nothing more than a "more diamonds pls" equivalent.
(before someone whines at me about forts being hard to find; thats why they're valuable, but a tracking mechanic could be beneficial- like compasses spinning faster the closer you get.)
