I've kept this in around 2 years ago in my notes or head...
This is really long so brace yourself...
Giant Stone Knight.
Has nearly 3 phases of different attacks and patterns.
When you first encounter it in the dungeon (which contains complex puzzles and traps), it does an "intro"
sequence.
It first looks like its sitting down on its throne, then stands up, then pulls a sword out.
Then the fight begins.
Three phases are in order first the randomized if passed all these phases.
It also has about the same health as the Enderdragon.
PHASE I :
It uses it's sword if you get close to it.
If your too far to let it use its sword, then it uses a bow, taking some time to charge up.
If it damages you with its sword, it deals 5 health, or 2 and a half hearts.
If it hits you with its arrow, it will deal 6 health or 3 hearts.
Its first attack pattern, it will swing its sword 2 or more times, then it swings its sword to the ground, bouncing you if you are on
the floor.
After 10 or more minutes, phase 2 begins.
PHASE II :
It now has a shield in its other hand, and its a 50-50 chance ANYTHING will do damage to him, from potions,to shovels,
swords, even fire, poison, or that "wither" effect.
It also has a larger range to attack from, even its bow.
Phase 2's attack pattern is similar to its first, but between each attack, it guards with its shield, blocking everything, until the next attack comes.
After 15 or more minutes, phase 3 begins.
PHASE III :
The border of the boss fight arena is made of LAVA, so it is wise to stay in the middle of the arena.
The Stone Knight gets "beefed" up, with:
More speed
More damage
More knockback
Slow health regeneration
Gives the player weakness and blindness if attacked once by the knight
Can spawn smaller and weaker copies of itself to aid itself.
When 20 minutes or so pass, Phase 3 still goes on until the boss is killed.
Name: Flamos (So original, right?)
Health: 47
Attacks:
Fire Pitch: Deals 2 damage, and places fire below the feet of the enemy.
Fire Smash: Deals 10 damage.
Drop: Left binding of Flamos (So original, right?)
Alternate Drop: Right binding of Flamos
With the two bindings of Flamos in the crafting table, they make the Blade of Flamos (So original, right?) Which deals 6 damage upon hit and leave fire on the ground below the hit enemy.Edit to above post, found in the nether in big underground nether brick rooms
Nether Golem
Hearts: 60
Appearance: Like an iron golem, but slightly bigger and made of netherbrick. Has lava-y veins.
Phase 1: In phase 1, the nether golem just chases you around. It smacks you like an iron golem, doing 7-8
hearts of damage. It also has a leap attack, which it charges for a few seconds before lunging straight at
you (easily avoidable), deals 10-12 hearts of damage, so insta-kill without armor.
Phase 2: After you bring it down to 30 hearts, the head detatches and starts flying around after the player.
The head can not be damaged, but can still be dodged and knocked back. It leaps more often, and
now executes a combo of sorts: it will always attempt to leap at you after a succesful smash, which
now deals more damage and has more knockback.
Boss Suggestion:
The Titan Spawn: In the Desert with Large sand mountains nearby, obsidion ring surrounding them, possible 100 blocks long Area/Lair: Open Area in obsidian ring Drop: God's Wrath Appearance: Giant Scropion Shape With giant hind humaoid legs and giant pincher arms Entrance: The Mountains Erupt and collapse into the ground when the Titan rises Special: Wherever he steps the ground lowers 2 blocks
Attacks: Stomp: Stomps on the ground leaving a huge crater Summon: Summons skeletons and zombies that don't burn up from the ground Flaming Breath: Shoots fire at you and if misses burns the ground and catches it on fire
Death Scene: Erupts into Lava and sand and the obsidian ring and the area around it will soon collapse within 30 seconds

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
I don't have any creative or interesting ideas for boss mobs but there is one key function to have to make sure that they aren't too easy. The boss needs to be able to either fly or teleport. This is because it would be incredibly easy to cage where the player could mine a one block hole and be able to attack the mob without being hit. I see this happening on a lot of mods and mod packs out there and it will the purpose of a boss.

You should make a boss that is extremely hard to defeat extremely hard to find looks creepy and drops something that can make you tame all mobs except for bosses stronger than you
you should make it have 1 triilion to 3 trillion health and the portal to the dimension is made of obsidian, diamond, and bedrock boss name : Omega its attacks are: attacking with thousands of fire charges hitting you with a lazer which make you go to one health telelportation of itself crushing you with its body and that kills you (rarely does it and can be dodged) summons kraken (rarely does it and can be stopped by putting lava around the battle) can take lava out stops charges one minute later he sends a gigantic laser that kills you(rarely does it and can be dodged) gives wither xp-3trillion levels spawn- in its own dimension with a maze to find it death: explodes then the dimension is falling apart and if you brang some pet or some vehicle you could go the portal quickly or you have to run for your life and hopefully reach the portal or jump from the sky all the way to the normal dimension and land on something with damage or gliding using gliding boots from past bosses. drops- taming wand and heart and extreme armor the heart increases your health 1 trillion, extreme armor has infinite durabilty and when you get hit you get no damage taken if the attack is from a mob weaker than you, taming wand tames anything weaker than you and kills anything weaker than you in one hit can also mine bedrock and eat up the void. Made for players who want minecraft more challenging

Please don't make multiple posts in a row on one thread. Put all of your idea in one post.
Why would you suggest an idea that you couldn't even handle? I'll take support in this only if you could defeat you monstrosity of a 'boss' to begin with. Your idea was bogus to me, and you do realize, a mob with "1 trillion health" would take 49,246,528 hits with a diamond sword to kill. Can you even click your mouse 10,000, for god's sake 49 million, without slamming your head into your desk? Because I can't.

Pretty good suggestion IMO. Could have some tweaks here and there but can you remove the sudden increase in font size, and instead use bold? Cause, it currently looks messy and hard to read. Also, Notch does not work on Minecraft anymore.

your boss ideas are cool.
Boss suggestion
General Brain
spawn:high on a building made from nether brick
area/lair: sit down on the building, provoked if the player come within 20 blocks.
Health: 130 hearts
Drop: notes book
appearance: normal, giant brain with iron suit
entrance: it charge the player when the player come close.
Special: fly, shockwave, time manipulation.
Attack
Confuse: shoot an arrow at the player. Its target would not be able to damage the boss for 10 seconds.
Charge: charge at the player, knocking the player 30 blocks far and 5 blocks high. Also deal 1 or 2 hearts.
shockwave: shoot a shockwave, dealing around 2 or 3 hearts of damage.
Time manipulation: turn the time. From day to night, from dawn to dusk, from midday to dawn, etc.
Drop
notes book
Crafted by surrounding a book with paper, resulting in note book. Note book acts as book filled with information about minecraft. 20 pages are covered while the rest are empty. Amount of page is infinite.
New experience: the time manipulation makes that dark area may spawn hostile mob, confuse arrow must be dodge or the fight will last longer
I would rather have all bosses and difficult enemies remain inside other dimensions like The Nether or The End. The Overworld has been a pure sandbox up until now - a player with cruddy equipment and only a low amount of skill can go anywhere and do pretty much anything in the Overworld. If you start adding bosses to it, it ceases to be a pure sandbox and becomes an adventure game, which is not what I want the Overworld in Minecraft to be.
So I would support this ONLY if they are not added to the Overworld.
Also OP when you say dungeons are optional all that means if that players who don't want to fight a dungeon boss they can't go into dungeons anymore. You have limited their experience of the sandbox - which is not unobtrusive to their gameplay. You should change that poll option to reflect that so your bias isn't showing. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just being truthful here.
The same goes for spawning a wyvern if you go to the top of a tower - what if my imagination directs me to build something up there? Now I have to defeat a boss and I need to gear up for that. It's not a sandbox anymore and is now an adventure game. If they are in the Overworld at all, it doesn't matter where they are, their very existence impacts the sandbox.
If they were to add new bosses to the other dimensions, like the Nether or the End, I would have no problem with that. If they wanted to create a new nightmare dimension just filled with awful horrible enemies and the worst bosses in the game, I would be fine with that. These other dimensions don't impact the sandbox experience in the Overworld, which I think is core to the design and experience of Minecraft.

why, too op? if so then its time manipulation and confuse attack are very rare. Also shockwave and chargea are easy to dodge.
P.s: im sorry if i it was too op.
