My criticism:
All:
I don't think their drops should be craftable, as it could be a really good incentive for boss fighting (similar to the way that many items found in dungeons are ONLY found in dungeons). Drops could be USED IN crafting though. I don't like the way it gives you an ability, instead it drops the thing it would normally give the ability to?
Aeromancer;
I think you have to be really good to be able to mix mossy cobblestoe ad glass for somethig cool, but Notch could do it :biggrin.gif:
Also, how are you going to get up there?
Earth Monster:
Maybe it should do some sort of digging entrance or attack, since it's an EARTH monster:
The drill seems a bit powerful... I think it should be rarer than the power drill and eventually break (endurance of an iron tool)
Cthulhu:
I love H.P. Lovecraft!!!!!!!!!! (I blurb only once :tongue.gif:) Cthulhu shoud be a large humanoidish, dark sea green, tentacle mouthed, dragon winged, alien creature tha is totally ****ign awesome! I like the diver helmet alot.
Sand Wyvern:
The wing beat is (hopefully) pretty weak and can be (nearly) negated by running towards it, ad is more powerful towards the source. The sand blaster is cool, but the chain reaction is not so cool.
Wurm:
perfect.
Yeti:
The ice skates are awesome, don't make it create ice, though, because that would drain fun from the ocean. Losing durability should also be from falling (like boots).
Slime:
I really like the entrance and special, but slime tools are bad... Instead it could drop a mini-slime (1x1) that follows (but doesn't push) you,and is simlar to wolves, but way cooler looking, it gets healed when you feed it slime balls, and it gets stronger when you feed it cake/cookies/(future candies)
Necromancer:
Instead of a Holy Symbol, it should drop a Moon/Dark Symbol, that raises a zombie when used (and has durability like a fishing pole), and the zombie simply fights all hostile mobs and wears a different colored shirt, otherwise its health, speed, ad other attributes would remain the same. The necromancer should also have the ability to shoot weak fireballs (with semi-awful aim)
Dark Knight:
No weapon? I agree that's a pretty crappy name :tongue.gif: I like the bat idea, especially the armor ditch.
Curse of the Creeper:
Bit powerful, I like the difficulty changing the boss. Lapis Lazuli shouldn't be used in place of uranium. On easy/normal the curse shouldn't spawn in well-lit areas. To remind the user that it's there, they should be green (like a further curse) and similar to a creeper.
Minotaur:
Love the maze! Just like the story of [insert greek hero i can't remember rght not] perfect.
Mechanic:
Like it... maybe a slight cyborg? REALLY like the tnt disarmer!
Merking:
Squids shouldn't be hostile, only hostile/neutral mobs would be hostile. The trident shouldn't make water to ice.
Cultists:
I like the idea, but the dagger should have another use.
Pyromancer:
Maybe more like Cthulhu, bu with fire-theme, more humanoid, and thinner.
Lava Golem:
Like the lava set. Maybe instead of ignition it would leave a lava trail that would only go back a few blocks before disappearing. Maybe an attack that uses the trail as a throw? (weak idea...)
That was a lot... I didn't do the Aether bosses, because I believe that the Aether shouldn't be difficult, but be a reward for hard work. Plus, it may never be implemented.

GENERATION 22: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation
Personally, I think that when you kill a boss, it drops a chest filled with items rather then having their own unique item drops. It doesn't make sense if you can suddenly craft an item after obtaining it. A way that could make sense is if, rather than simply dropping their item, the bosses drop both their item and instructions on how to craft the item. When Steve gets the instructions, he "learns" how to craft them, so he can't just craft them at the beginning. That will make more sense, although I think that the chest drop is a better idea.
The holy symbol that the Necromancer drops is really overpowered. I think that the holy symbol shouldn't skip the time to dawn when used at night, and it should be only be able to be used once. That'll make it less overpowered.
I have a suggestion for the "Curse of the Creeper" boss. It would be annoying if the Creeper disappears right when you hit it, and you would have to wait before it would appear. Instead, the Creeper shouldn't disappear the instant you hit it. Instead, when you start the battle with it, after getting hit 3-4 times, the Creeper should run out of the dungeon and start hiding. After 1-2 Minecraft days, the Creeper would start going after you. He should be able to break through wooden doors so you can't hide in your house. Think of it as a slasher movie, but in Minecraft.
Edit: I noticed an error I made in the first paragraph in this post, so I fixed it.

On the Chest: No. Why would I go murder a massive boss for some junk I have anyways?
On the instructions: That would ruin the fun. If you could just go see the recipe on the wiki
and craft a super-cool item with no effort, it wouldn't be fun, wouldn't it?
The revised creeper is cool though. Anything that would strike as much fear as possible is good.
One thing, if I'm strip-mining an area, lets say because I wanna build a mob trap, then I suddenly encounter a room with a boss in it or whatever, then it obstructs gameplay, because now I need to kill the boss/remove the goddamn room to build my mob tower.
Therefore, this would be better as a mod, not an actual addition to gameplay.

Warriors of Chaos!!!
Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle - So many ways to die, so few times to do so.
The Crymancer could turn you into 2 ice blocks which then he calls a creeper to come and blow you up,however rapidly pressing attack will turn you back,if the creeper gets you how ever, you would be dead
This idea is like no other idea that was added, I'm sorry if it's bad, this is my first time i got an idea
THE BOSS KNOW HOW SECTION
Name of Boss:(give this boss a name that is related to digging)
Place seen:a forest Biome or plains, you decide
Lair: a cave with the entrance made of dirt, inside it is made of dirt,is always above a cavern that is under it in a range of 5-10 blocks
What Boss Looks like: you remember that Giant Mole guy from Super Mario Galaxy? that's how he looks, except with a yellow helmet and he is the same size as you
Hp:50
Drops: Mole Mitts(read below to find out how to craft them)
Attacks:
Body Slam:hops up the ceiling(the place is large, meaning hard to see where he is) and tries to crush you, dealing 2 damage plus suffocation damage for extra 2 hearts(read below the mole mitts section for how to escape all the attacks)
Digging Champ: digs underground and tries to either 1:dig under you and try to make you fall into a cave, meaning you have to get back up. or 2:bash his head from under you to deal 2 hearts
Charge:Charges randomly around the room breaking any torches and blocks he hits, sometimes making the room slightly larger, if you touch him when he does this you will fly to the wall and get dealt 2.5 hearts, it can be done multiple times in one charge if he charges into the corner your in and could quickly kill you
and the rarest of all, Change of location: he will dig through the wall into the overworld, you will need to search for him, once you find him though, the battle starts from where it was left off, so you can grind for pork chops before resuming the battle
Special:digs really fast, faster than a shovel, also if you hit down to 10 hp, his helmet will turn red and all attacks are faster, while also doing double damage, except for the cave one, which is the same speed and has the damage of how far down you go
THE MOLE MITTS SECTION
how to craft Mole Mitts:
[]
=Leather
The Mole Mitts Dig through anything either than obsidian at mach speed! diamond only takes a single click to break! but trying to break obsidian with this equals losing double durability plus it takes a minute to break! your better off using a diamond pickaxe than these for obsidian
has the digging speed of seen above, has the durability of and iron pickaxe, but it is easy to craft, but requires killing helpless cows, if you try to fight with this, it does the damage of barehands and(somehow terribly) takes away 5 times the durability taken from mining! it sucks for fighting, but mining with this is pure heaven!
THE HOW TO ESCAPE THE ATTACKS SECTION
How to escape the attacks
BodySlam:just keep running, it only slams where you were when he disappeared, so if you run, you won't lose those precious 4 hearts
Digging Champ:again, keep running, if you run fast enough, you can escape the fall into a cave, but it is hard to escape the bash head through the ground one, unless you somehow run twice as fast than normal
Charge:He Slows down when he turns, then he gives a second for you to run away from where he is facing, if you don't use that second to move out of the way, you could possibly die in a corner
Change of Location:this one is the easiest to dodge, he won't attack you, all you need to do is not search for his new lair(which will now have torches and instead of dirt for the entrance to the cave,it will be glowstone,by not entering, you can easily stock up on porkchops, weapons, and armour
THE RATING OF WEAPONS AGAINST THIS BOSS SECTION
I will go from wood sword to the bow *=star will be rated one to five stars(any rating may be wrong, but just deal with it)
Wood sword:
Rating:*
it is bad because it hardly does any damage
Stone sword:
Rating:**
still bad
Iron sword:
Rating:***
could be pretty useful, great if any of your other weapons break in the middle of the battle
Gold sword:
Rating:none
is worthless, never take this weapon into battle, it will soon break making you barehanded
Diamond:
Rating:****
is awesome for this guy as a melee weapon, but there is a weapon out there that requires a mod that would be better(if the mod doesn't work with this mod, than take the weapon out of this section)
Bow:
Rating:*****
Best weapon you could have, stock up on arrows, and i mean a ton1 it does low damage, but you could spam arrows on him while he is doing the charge move, making this the best without the mod
The mod weapon
Shock Blade: requires the mod with the brood maiden in it, search to find the right mod
Rating:******(yes i know; it is over the limit, but it's so good!)
it is over the limit because it does extra damage overtime,if it doesn't then the rating would be this(Rating:****)
if it does do extra damage overtime swap to the bow so you can spam arrows on him so he gets smacked at rapidly, or stand in the doorway and refill your life
THE END SECTION
i hope you like this boss, this is ExplodingDekuNut, Flashing out!*throws DekuNut onto the ground and disappears*
Edit: his entrance is by the his body slam from the ceiling in the back(on the other side from where you entered)he then roars, at this time you can land an arrow or two, if your fast enough

iPixeli's mod! doesn't look good if your a boy, but to me it's epic!
Here is an idea that might work, but i came up with it in like 5 seconds so it probobly neeeds work (P.S. i suck at spelling so just ignor it if posable)
Name: Asasin
spawn: a mid sised hut, in forest or simaler biomes
Drop: teliscope
actions: simaler to spider-skeliten mix, exept more quardinated, more so jumps from wall to wall and runs fast while allso throwing dagers and the like at you
appernce:idk, like a ninja or a hunter of some sort
entrince: after opening door to the hut, you can't close the door, and you here a few fast paced footsteps. you find the hut is somewhat well made, and in a room there is a chest. Inside is tons of dimonds, gold, wepons, ect. inside. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF IT! If you do, the door is shut and the asasin atacks you in the hut, and locks you IN the hut, preseded by loud skreching, and you will almost cirtanly die. if you leve the hut WITHOUT takeing anything, the asasin will trail you for a distains, trying to make itself obvius, then will attack you after it starts skreching and sends out a dart/dager at you, intentionaly missing.
Attacks:
Slash: the asasin gets within 2 blocks, it lashes out with a dager, somewhat high damge
Throw: trows a dager/trowing star type wepon at you, moderate damege
Pounce: because of its jumping abliltys, and airial assult might happen if you are close to walls.
Reflexes: has a chance to make arows fired at it be reflecter at you, a spin animation would do for this action.
Thevery: any items you drop will be stored in the chest, geting rid of the dimonds and gold. the stuff in the chest is a bonus if you kill the assasin without it killing you first
Drop: Teliscope, craftable like so:
makes the bow more acurate and can let you shot and see farther, les drop on arows when useing.
Note: the asasin has a fairly low health, makeing it more of a reocuring boss, killing the asasins could lead to less need to mine and have beter things faster, given that your good at fighting
the assasins may make camps, where they had more stuf, but many assasins, this part is just an idea, not actualy part of the boss
i diss like when i mine my , but what can you do besides

Blargen Splargen darf is like minecraft in a cokie
Voxelbuffer, you could call it "The Guardian", "Slasher", or just "Mantis" :wink.gif:
Anyways, here is my idea^^:
Demon King
Spawn: Inside the nether, in a castle just hovering over an ocean of lava.
Area/Lair: A massive 10x20x10 castle (+/- in size, I need suggestions on it. Remember that the first 10=Length, 20=Width, and the second 10=Height), made out of pure Netherrack (or Obsidian?), with the floor made in a chess-like pattern of Soulsand and netherrack. The castle will be (as mentioned above) hovering over lava, and a large bridge made out of netherrack will be leading up to it. I'll leave the "detail work" of the castle up to you to decide
Drop: Up to 20 pieces of Obsidian, or his own, infamous Fire Cape (which he wears while you are fighting him). Description of the Fire Cape is below.
Appearance: A giant, black (no racism :tongue.gif:), musculair, human body-shaped creature similair to us, but three times as big as us, and (as I said) with way bigger muscles, making him look EVEN bigger and fiercer. Has a red tail with a black triangle as the tip, and a pair of massive, black wings which he uses to fly for short periods of time. As a final "touch", he has a pair of giant, black horns on top of his head, curved towards each other.
Entrance: As you enter his castle, you will (most probably) notice the giant demon sitting in his personal throne made out of Netherrack, staring at you. As you approach him, he will rise from his throne, fly towards you, and stomp the ground, damaging every living being around him (he has Zombie Pigmens as minions, so be cautious!)
Special: Is able to fly for short periods of time near the ceiling (making him harder to attack), and is completely immune to the slowing powers of the Soulsand, which makes him a faster opponent than you inside his domain.
Health: Has 50 Hearts on Easy, 100 Hearts on Normal, and 150 Hearts on Hard difficulty. (Note: He is VERY difficult to slay, so beware! Although the harder the difficulty, the higher drop-chance!)
The Demon King is VERY weak to snowballs, and will loose about as much damage you deal with the iron sword when hit by it (diamond sword-power would be ridiculous ;p), whatever difficulty!
Attacks: Written here from most common to rarest:
Punch: Rather straight forward attack. He moves towards you, and punches you with his massive hands, dealing 1 Heart damage on easy, 2 Hearts on normal, and 3 Hearts on Hard.
Charge!: He starts flapping his wings, and charges towards you in mid-air, before he brutally stabs you with his horns. Easy: 2 Hearts damage, Normal: 3, and Hard: 4.
Minions, attack!: His zombie pigmen (usually 3 or four of them, whatever difficulty), start attacking you, and he will fly in the air meanwhile, and will not come back down untill you have killed the pigmens.
Firebreath: You should know what this means. He moves towards you, and sprays a 3x2 grid of flame towards you, with a high chance of hitting yourself, although his main reason is to light the floor on fire, as it does not extinguish again untill you beat him.
IMPOSSIBLE!: He can only use this attack when very low on health. He will turn red for a few seconds, then smash the entire floor in a 5x5 grid around him. BEWARE, as you might fall into the lava because of this! Before he is able to make you fall to your doom, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE (very pro tip).
NEVER!: Always happens when he dies. Will explode as a creeper would, just except the hissing and the flashing colours. Note that the floor around him will not be destroyed on explotion. It only causes damage.
After the Demon King is dead, a Double Chest will appear next to his throne. The possible drops will be inside it.(Don't ask me how his Fire Cape might end up there.) Loot the chest quickly, as his castle soon will crumble, and fall into the ocean of lava.
Now, for the Fire Cape: It will make you fire resistant, and (no matter what difficulty) heal you 0.5 heart every second you stand on fire/lava. Note that you CANNOT craft the Fire Cape, as it is a unique drop.
Final note: As I said, the floor is a chess-like pattern with Soulsand and Netherrack. Here is the "design" of it, with Soulsand as and Netherrack as :Red::
Actually one thing I don't like of this is the Wyvern Drop. It seems useless.
Maybe when it dies, Sand Arrows are shot in alll directions (Think in Survival test),
And you can use them.
Sand Arrows:
Crafting:
Same as normal [>>-i>] with sand on either side.
Makes 2.
When they are fired, it leaves a trail of sand that does .5-1 Damage.
But the arrow itself does less damage.
A small cloud of sand forms arround the bow after shot. This has the same effect as the trail, and lasts 1-2 seconds.
You cannot fire until the cloud is gone.
I have a boss suggestion idea but it may require some work from what it currently is.
WARNING! this is a HUGE wall of text, even more so after the Edit, which is basically a lot of details.
Clay Golem
Spawn: Only in desert biomes ( could be renamed to be Sand Golem)
Area/Lair: either a depression in a relatively flat area or a small hill with a flat top. Surface only
Drops: Clay Soul
Appearance: think like a big blobby human shape made entirely out of clay with a darker chunk of clay near the chest area. very dull eyes and facial features, they look like impressions a molder would make on a clay doll. Before activation it looks like a large human sitting in a chair of sandstone ( think the Lincoln memorial) The Golem is roughly ( changeable?) 6-8 blocks tall and 3 blocks wide on the x and z axis.
Entrance: looks like a big mound of clay when approached, if you attempt to dig it out with a shovel ( or any other tool/hand) it will push you away ( just moves you back about 10 blocks, remember your in a desert you should be safe) then it will get up from its seat made of sandstone)
Special: moves slowly(0.55 of player speed) , is immune to arrows, arrows fired sink into the clay but can't damage it they are also unretrievable. highly resistant to swords and TNT, highly weak agaisnt shovels ( swords and TNT will still work it just takes longer) is unaffected if dragged into water, or lava. if he walks over natural Clay he will absorb it and heal himself with it.
Attacks:
PAUNCH!: ( need a better name!) very common attack. if the player comes within 4 blocks of the Golem AFTER he is activated he will wind up and punch a massive fist 4 blocks in front of him.
Pummel: If the player gets close enough the Golem will raise its arms up and then smash them down onto the player. dealing massive damage to the player. (Could move the player down a block? by removing the block under the player?)
Plorb: removes a segment of his body and hurls it at the player, dealing NO damage but removing the player's ability to move ( or at least slowing down the player) ( Plorb is the best i can think of! it sounds like a bunch of clay being slammed into something doesn't it?) ( often one of the first attacks used at battle start! makes you more vulnerable to his other attacks!)
Statue:(quite rare) Stops moving and begins to regenerate HP, also will not attack the player no matter their actions during this stage the clay in the body hardens removing the weakness to shovels BUT adding a weakness to pickaxes. Also creates 4 statues in a loose + formation around himself that don't move but will attack the player with a swinging mid section if they come near. Lasts indefinite amount of time or until 100 HP is reached, Each currently living statue heals the main Golem for 4 HP a second so when the attack starts he will regenerate 16 HP per second, each tower you destroy the less health he gets. When you destroy the last tower OR hit him 3 times with whatever you use the attack will end and he will resume his normal attacks. it is HIGHLY important to destroy at least 3 towers or bumrush the Golem when this starts or this battle may last forever.
Final attack: When the Golem reaches critical HP ( 2 health or less) the body of the golem falls apart in all 8 directions around him creating clay blocks. these clay are capable of suffocating the player to death resulting in a battle restart ( which would suck!) if they were to fall onto the player. at the center of the clay ( where the golem was standing when he died) there would be what looks like a dark piece of clay. you can harvest it for a single Clay Soul item. ( you may also harvest the rest of the clay for what else but clay!)
Drop: Clay Soul ( the best part of the boss!)
= clay blocks ( not bricks but the reformed clay)
The Clay Soul item would look like a clay block with a diamond color gem in the center of it ( it would not look like a diamond stuck into clay but more like a diamond colored symbol of sorts)
the reason for having a Clay Soul is to craft your own Golem ( very dumb not entirely usefull other than for limited base defense) ( may be more towards the clay towers the Golem creates during the Statue attack)
combine like so with more clay blocks in a crafting grid: where = Clay Soul
[] []
[]
this creates an item called Dummy Golem in your inventory it looks like a super scaled down version of a Golem.
When placed it does not move but is capable of attacking anything around it ( in all 8 directions 2 blocks out ) with a pummel attack, it will never attack the player and is immune to explosions from creepers similar to the larger Golem. When destroyed it uses Final attack but does NOT drop its soul just some clay blocks. is also Resistant to arrows but to a much lesser extent than a full Golem ( the full Golem remember was completely immune to all arrows) zombies are capable of ripping down a dummy Golem rather quickly if it has already used it's attack before it could recharge ( its attack does massive damage as of yet undetermined but has a slow recharge before the dummy Golem may do it again. )
Dummy Golems are 3 blocks high and require a 4th block above them to be able to use their pummel ability. They appear to be like a pillar with arms in appearance.
Obviously Dummy Golems would only be useful in the protection of large bases. with very tall ceilings however they have VERY high HP ( they are weak against prolonged zombie attacks, a zombie being the only mob that attacks with bare hands) also if a spider attacks a Dummy Golem it will do 0 damage and become passive ( to simulate that its fangs, the only weapon a spider has, are covered in gooey, sticky , Clay) The Dummy Golem will still attack passive Spiders. ( if you wanted a base with no roof you could put Dummy Golems on your walls to stop spiders from climbing over them! I JUST thought of that hehe stupid spiders)
~~Edit~~
How to AVOID the Golem's attacks
PAUNCH!: when you see him start winding up sidestep a bit and he should punch right past you since he is incapable of reaiming this attack AFTER he starts using it ( think FALCON PUNCH! from super smash bros)
Pummel: this one is easy when he raises up his arms into the air above his head simply run away from him.
Plorb: dodge the clay ball projectile! If you are hit water can wash it off of you ( he is in a desert biome only so hope you brought some!)
Statue: dodge around or destroy the guard towers and use a pickax against the Golem. Careful if you are still next to him when he is finished you might get pummeled!
Final Attack: hit and run style baby! although he does fall apart very quickly if you are fast enough you can avoid the falling blocks.
How to Defeat the Clay Golem ( or what weapons/tools work the best!)
For the sake of consistency here are all weapons ( and shovels/pickaxes) damages to normal enemies. ( if you know these feel free to skip ahead a bit)
Swords: Wood: 2 hp, Stone: 3 hp , 4: hp, gold: 2, diamond: 5 hp
Bare hands: 1/2 hp
Bows/arrows: 2 hp
Pickax: wood 1 hp, stone 1/2 hp , Iron: 2 hp, gold: 1 hp, Diamond: 2 1/2
Shovel: wood 1/2 hp , stone 1 hp, gold 1/2 hp , iron 1 1/2 hp , Diamond 2 hp,
Now against the Clay Golem here are the above tools/weapons Damages, keep in mind that the Clay Golem has 100 Hp ( that will go down rather quickly don't worry! just play it smart!) Axes ( for cutting trees) do the same DMG as a sword of a similar material.
A pickax against a NON hardened Golem ( not regenerating HP ) will perform as well as an Axe or sword of the same material. a shovel against a hardened Golem will do the same thing. OKAY here are the numbers! the pickax and shovel's numbers are what they would do against their respective strong suits ( shovel vs normal clay, Pickax vs healing Golem) the numbers for the opposite ( shovel vs healing Golem, Pickax vs normal Clay Golem) will do the same as the sword and Axe.
Swords: wood: 0 hp , Gold 0 hp, stone 1/2 hp , iron 1 hp, Diamond 1 1/2 hp
Pickax : wood: 2 hp, Gold: 15 hp, stone 4 hp, Iron 6 Hp , Diamond 8 hp
Shovels: wood: 4 hp, Gold , 10 Hp , stone 5 hp, Iron 9 hp, diamond 15 hp
Bow/arrow: 0 hp per shot. ( yep he is immune!)
Fist: 0 hp, Has a NEGATIVE effect on the player, as the clay the Golem is made of is quite sticky punching it with your bare hands will cause you to slow down and what not an effect similar to soul sand / the Plorb attack.
Snowball: -2 Hp negative effect it heals the dang thing!
Punching with clay balls in hand: heals the Golem for 8 hp and absorbs your clay ball your currently holding. if you have more than 1 it only heals for 2 hp BUT it absorbs all clay balls in your active stack. each 1 item healing it for 2 hp.
Punching with Clay BLOCKS in active hand slot: heals Golem for 20 Hp and absorbs the block, if you have more than 1 it only heals for 10 HP but absorbs all your clay in your active stack, each one healing it for 10 Hp ( yes if you have a mere 10 clay blocks in hand you can heal the Golem completely!
i have no idea WHY you would heal it unless you want to prolong the battle?
TNT
As i mentioned earlier the Clay Golem is RESISTANT to TNT explosions. however because of the golem's slowness TNT may be used as an effective strategy to slow down the Golem by putting him in a hole. if trapped he will eventually figure it out and place a single clay block ( disappears after he is off it) or more to exit the hole but it may take him a few moments to figure out he is trapped.
Misc stuff: if a Clay Golem appears in a depression zombies will gather nearby it to protect themselves as the depression will protect them from the sun. Zombies are attracted to the Golem at all times of the day/night but they will not actually activate it, only the player can do that. ONCE the Golem is active Zombies will attack it, and die instantly and give it health so the player should kill off zombies in the area before activating them. ( imagine fighting a Clay Golem near a surface zombie spawner? random hard ass fight!) However since the Golem recognizes the Zombies as enemies he may attack them before they have a chance to heal him. he will kill them instantly but unless the zombie hits him he will not be healed, also he recognizes Zombies as a bigger threat than the player. ( imagine dragging a Clay Golem all the way to a necromancer village? epic fight!)
Despite arrows doing 0 damage to the Clay Golem he will still be agroed by a skeleton arrow, or a player arrow or some other arrow. you could use skeletons to distract him to give yourself a chance to recover from his onslaught!
Damages
The Clay Golem is a massive enemy and has the power to back up his massiveness. here are the damages from his attacks ( should be under the attacks section but the normal posts didn't list damage... so here it is)
PAUNCH! : direct hit causes 7 damage to the player with possible extra damage from say.. getting PAUNCHED! off a cliff.... has a knockback of 4 blocks so this is an actual danger of an auto kill. if there is a 1 block down or more right behind you and you are PAUNCHED! you will travel 4 blocks out BEFORE going even 1 block down. so getting PAUNCHED! down a hill may actually present a danger!
Pummel: deals out 9 damage if a direct hit. in addition to moving the player down 1 block so you MIGHT fall in a cave and die. OR if you can't jump out fast enough he may use PAUNCH! on you making this very devastating if not avoided.
Plorb: no damage!
Statue: the towers if they hit you deal out 5 damage making this his .. weakest and yet most powerful attack! you might need the statue time to heal yourself but then he goes and heals too!
Armor reductions:
If you are wearing armor here are the reductions: ( certain armors also have special effects against some attacks!)
Leather armor: reduces all attacks by the rate they reduce zombie attacks, HOWEVER if the Golem used Plorb on you the weight of the clay blob sticking to your light armor makes your armor FALL OFF and onto the ground, they can be picked up again but can you really take the chance to re-equip them while you have an angry clay golem stomping your way? also the Plorb attack slow effect is negated by this.
Iron Armor: brings Statue damage down to 1/2 heart, Pummel down to 2 hearts , and PAUNCH to 1.5 hearts.
if you are hit by Plorb while wearing Iron armor you are completely ground to a halt from the weight of the armor and the clay ball you cannot move unless you physically go into your inventory and un-equip your armor. so even though your armor brings down your damage it lets the Golem catch up to you if you are hit by Plorb.
Gold Armor: DOES NOT REDUCE DAMAGE FROM ANY ATTACK!
however Gold armor makes the Golem ignore you until you hit him at least 5 times. can be used to great effect, but can only be used at battle start, if you switch your armor out during the battle he will ignore it and keep attacking you.
Diamond armor: Has the same effect on Plorb as leather armor EXCEPT the armor does not come un-equipped.
Paunch does 0 damage IF you are sneaking when the fist impacts you, however you will shoot back an astounding 10 blocks! so again you will have to watch where you are standing when you are hit, don't want to go flying off a cliff do we?
Pummel is unaffected by Diamond armor and will actually still deal 9 damage and due to your head being much harder and him being able to inflict MORE force because of this you will go down 5 blocks when hit by this.
ENRAGED MODE!
Please note that this is OPTIONAL and only for people who want a HARDER fight!
If you are carrying Brick Blocks or just Bricks anywhere in your inventory when you activate the Golem or you pick some up During the battle he will become ENRAGED as he sees this as you literally cooking others of his species...
The Enraged Golem is different in EVERY aspect from the normal Golem so I'll write it as a variant of the Golem Enraged Clay Golem
Spawn: same
Area/Lair: same
Appearance: looks like red clay not the standard grey clay of the minecraft world.
Entrance: Same, Except his throne turns into fire when he leaves it. ( this only happens if you Enrage him Before you start the battle)
Special: Everything is the same but he moves faster ( .95 of player speed) , And has NO cooldown/ warmup in-between attacks meaning he could rattle off attacks like a player could fire an arrow machine gun. Has QUADRUPLE the the health of a normal Clay Golem. ( if he is enraged DURING the battle his max and current hp levels are multipled by 4.
PAUNCH! : direct hit causes 9.5 damage to the player with possible extra damage from say.. getting PAUNCHED! off a cliff.... has a knockback of 10 blocks so this is an actual danger of an auto kill. if there is a 1 block down or more right behind you and you are PAUNCHED! you will travel 10 blocks out BEFORE going even 1 block down. so getting PAUNCHED! down a hill may actually present a danger!
Pummel: If the player gets close enough the Golem will raise its arms up and then smash them down onto the player. dealing massive damage to the player. (Could move the player down a block? by removing the block under the player?) deals out 9.5 damage per hit.
Plorb: removes a segment of his body and hurls it at the player, dealing 7 damage AND removing the player's ability to move ( or at least slowing down the player) ( often one of the first attacks used at battle start! makes you more vulnerable to his other attacks!)
Statue: tower's damages are increased to 9 hearts a hit and heal the golem for 8 hp each making this move incredibly important to stop quickly. he also will take up to 10 hits before giving up on regenerating. he also spawns a 5th tower in a random area around himself. within 1 block as an emergency guard. ( yes having 5 towers makes him capable of healing 40 hearts a second. ) the Enraged variant will only do this attack ONCE and he will wait until he has 50 hp left or lower to use it, making sure it is as effective as possible. ( yes he really hates you for cooking his friends)
Final Attack: EXACTLY the same thing as the non- enraged Golem but he only activates it at 0 hp giving him every last chance to hit you with a normal attack.
I'm willing to make changes if a clear flaw is pointed out that I didn't notice! OR you would like me to change something and it makes sense to me.
Yeah, about the flaw, doom101: You forgot to mention how much HP the Clay Golem has :S
i was in editing for a little while but i did fix it, he has 100 hp and 400 in Enraged mode. ( please read the post for full details the high HP isn't as bad as you might think.
Read it now. One word (or two, actually) : LONG, EPIC xD
EDIT (didn't want to double-post) : I need some tweaks or suggestions on the Demon King. Could anybody who've read it please give me some ideas :3?
Thanks! ill take a look at Demon King now, and ill edit this in a few minutes when I'm done reading :smile.gif:
~~edit~~
I REALLY like that he has a floating over lava castle XD he is so dangerous! i have a question? how fast does he move? that is vital in avoiding attacks... for example my Golem is VERY powerful but super, super , slow even when attacking. i think the Demon King should be quite fast considering how little damage he actually does per hit. other than knocking you into the lava of course XD.
i have an idea on the interior of the castle. it may be possible to make the castle into a maze or something that is hard to navigate but will provide vital places to take cover during the fight.
other than that i really like your idea especially the Zombie pigmen minions, lord knows it would be appropriate ( for me) those things hate me so much XD ( killing off all their spawn probably isn't helping relations...)

Yeah, about his attacks and his movement: He moves about twice as fast as us (because of the soulsand), and his attacks have a 75% chance of hitting THROUGH your armor, possibly killing you in one hit (With the "NEVER!" or "Charge!").

i see, well that is very dangerous then! of course these are Boss mobs we are talking about they should be able to decimate a player easily! ( hence the Enraged Mode of the clay Golem.....)
Aeromancer;
Therefore, this would be better as a mod, not an actual addition to gameplay.
Warriors of Chaos!!!
Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle - So many ways to die, so few times to do so.
Here is the "design" of it, with Soulsand as and Netherrack as :Red::
... You get my idea ^^
WARNING! this is a HUGE wall of text, even more so after the Edit, which is basically a lot of details.
The Enraged Golem is different in EVERY aspect from the normal Golem so I'll write it as a variant of the Golem
Enraged Clay Golem
Spawn: same
Area/Lair: same
Appearance: looks like red clay not the standard grey clay of the minecraft world.
OR you would like me to change something and it makes sense to me.
i was in editing for a little while but i did fix it, he has 100 hp and 400 in Enraged mode. ( please read the post for full details the high HP isn't as bad as you might think.
