No thanks, let's not permanently ruin hard mode. You may as well just have the Creeper give you a 3rd level of every negative potion effect upon damage. And make a vein of diamond ore just vanish for every time a Creeper blows up in your world.

Change one of the most iconic (and annoying) mobs? To make them more annoying?! No thanks. I don't hate the idea of a long ranged, balanced explosive mob, but not the creeper. Besides, this is waaaaay too OP. I mean, continually shooting? It would ruin all structures, and kill you all the time. It would turn into a boss.It's like giving a griefer infinite TNT.
Look at the Ghast. Extremely long ranged and pretty destructive, but balanced by its low accuracy and health.
This would be worse. I mean, it's in the overworld, where you mostly build, explodes if you get near it, you can't block the attacks, and it will start shooting at you from 20 blocks away.

Look at the OP, the TNT doesn't actually blow up blocks! And also, if it did, since the TNT is technically part of a creeper, you could turn it off with gamerule mobGriefing false

Still, waaay too OP. It and it would change and (in my opinion) ruin the most iconic mob in the game. I think, if this happened, it should be a new, rare mob.

I dunno, it doesn't throw it, it shoots it, so maybe the TNT could be strapped to a mini rocket and it flys off his back and then renews
