Hey... I like the new changes but the texture could be better. Don't make it a priority though, work on more important stuff.

So it's an innaccurate one-shot exploding deathtrap that's too powerful yet not fast enough to use on normal mobs but too difficult to use on bosses. Kind of like splash potions of damage (or healing for the undead). The only time in which it's useful in combat is once, at the beginning of each combat, or five times at the beginning of combat (if you have five shots and are close, why not use all five shots?). Kind of like splash potions of damage or five splash potions of damage.
I think that, in trying to balance it, you've made it too bad to use, and that splash potions of damage are both easier to create and have a better self-damage avoidance system. And bows. Bows are even better than both of them. You can quickly spam low-damage arrows for constant knockback at close range, or you can deal massive damage at long range. No exploding, no effort to reload, and is superior at all ranges against all opponents (except the Wither, I think). Oh, and humongous clip size (as many arrows as you can carry). And the ammunition doesn't need to be made of mid-game items.
I would like to see it being able to have enchantments.
Also maybe it could hit endermen and be a good start to killing them?
Yeah, I'd say you'd be able to take out Enderman pretty good with this. Maybe not with the regular Musket, but that other one... no doubt.
You know, I wouldn't have left out having the ability to enchant them, or I wouldn't have even mentioned it, and I would've let people assume because it would've been implied, but I was so worried people would consider this overpowered if you could give this something like, say, "Infinity I". Because the whole point of that ammo is the balance in getting it. You know what I mean? "Power III" might be nice. "Flame" Enchantments might do, but I'm still so worried about making it too overpowered, or I guess overpowered at all, even a little bit. So, I guess what I'm saying is that if we could enchant them, they'd only have "Power" or "Flame", or other enchantments that increase the damage done, but we could never allow it to have "Infinity" or "Looting", because then it would be TOO overpowered. (I might be happy with some sort of new enchantment that increases "Accuracy", "Effective Range" or lessens "Kickback": all of that sounds fair)
I love it! It matches the time zone of minecraft very well! It has just the right amount of cons to keep it from being OP, and there are neon pros to keep it from being UP! full support!
I'm trying to keep this in everybody's best interest, though, so if you see anything at all you'd like changed, reply to this post and I'd take it into consideration. It' not 100% that I would absolutely change that thing specifically, but if I see that it needs to be done, please point out a problem.
That goes for everybody. If you see a problem with this, please point it out and I will see what I can do. I will try to fix everything with this.
Bayonets could be attached so it could be used for melee?
Bayonets could be attached so it could be used for melee?
It feels slightly overpowered, does it not? To be able to go directly from projectile attack to melee, without any sort of wait time or anything? Could you explain a little more how it would work? Just craft it with an iron or diamond sword? Or use something else like shears? Would the damage be the same as using the sword, or would it be lowered? Would you be able to cut webs with it?
I'm sorry, and I know that's been suggested on this thread before, but I'm only worried about it being overpowered.
Have the reload time increased, like a real musket. As for crafting, I don't know.
The reload time for the regular Musket is fine. It's just the amount of time it takes for you tom move all the items into the crafting window and then click. As for the Hopper Musket, I'm almost positive that's how long one of those old reloading mechanisms would take. I'm going to check up on that right now...
Also, I can't add Bayonets until I'm positive they wouldn't be overpowered. So, if you or anyone else could convince me of that by telling me it's fair crafting recipe and it's abilities, then I might list it up there. The thing is, though, that if we don't limit it to just one type of sword or object, then we'd have at least 10 new textures to make and implement, instead of just one for each Musket. If we did that, we'd have to make one texture for each sword, for each type of Musket.
I'm not trying to disagree, I just can't see that they would be worth the time, effort, and resources for what they add, which is basically a glorified sword.

Yeah, I just checked up on it, and these sorts of automatic mechanisms were actually quicker to reload than the normal Muskets. So, I reduced the time to 2 seconds.
I changed the durability to be more like that of a Gold Pickaxe. For some reason that feels like the most fair durability for an object like this. If you disagree, please tell me why, and help me figure out how I can make that better. Thank you
I just came to the realization that the crafting recipe for the Iron Sword is extremely similar to the one for the Musket. So much so that I may be better off to just use it's durability as the durability for this. But I'm not sure. I can't tell what the community will think is best. I need feedback. Do any of you guys have any ideas?
A bayonet could do 2 damage for a wood, 3 for stone, 4 for iron and 5 for diamond. A bayonet could be crafted with a Blaze rod and whatever material. The crafted with a normal musket only for a bayonet musket.

My Avatar is a Dalek, therefor your argument is... EXTERMINATED!!!
You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.

Full Hearts or Half-Hearts?
EDIT: I just think it would waste too much time, valuable game space and overall resources to add a texture for each sword multiplied by each Musket just so we can have a cheap substitute for a single melee weapon. It shouldn't work that way. Sorry, but a bayonet just wouldn't work for this. No bayonets.

Alright so I have a more realistic and more balanced way of reloading and making ammunition. So the ammunition should require 3 iron ingots, a piece of paper, and one gunpowder. The paper was used to hold together the lead ball and gunpowder for one "bullet" so using that recipe creates 3 lead balls which must be reloaded manually after each shot by right clicking the musket in hand withat least one lead ball in your inventory. When reloading it takes somewhere around 10-15 seconds. This is the moat accurate and balanced way just saying

Thanks for the support, Chewie

I can't remember if I wrote it in the original post or not, but yes it would be repairable through the Anvil.
Apparently I hadn't mentioned it, so I just added it to the original post. Thanks for reminding me about that, because I would not have remembered.
How many uses do we get out of the bow?

Mobs actually being varied???
