I posted pics of the crypt in the link. It's not much to look at, if any of you have any ideas for a layout that would be great. I think the rarity should be dependent on the complexity of the finished crypt. My design involves a simple initial room with two hallways on either side leading further down but not covered in cobblestone, instead those hallways spawn only air and potentially expose more things. You can see the final room on my crypt has exposed a small cave and some lava. I decided the final room should have a partial floor in case it spawns over air, so that the loot chest has something to sit on. It also makes it look more ruins-y.
It would be nice to have some more distinct loot for the crypt. I get tired of having the same generic loot in every chest I find. I was also thinking it should be fairly weak loot so that it can be a more common find. Maybe some iron or gold ingots along with chain armor, bones, and weapons would be the best type of loot you find in it.
I think the crypt should appear in plains, flower forest, forest, birch forest, roofed forest, taiga, mega taiga, swamp, jungle, and savannah. Basically all temperate life-rich biomes. It should be most common in forest, birch forest, taiga, and plains. It would not occur in sunflower plains. The zombies would be especially active near it if it is in swamp or roofed forest, and may be active during the day anywhere they have shade.
Each grave should have a special zombie spawn egg in it, which would look like a block of coarse dirt. During the night or when there is enough shade, the zombie egg will hatch, and a special zombie will come out, attached to its egg point. It is just like a normal zombie except that it will not wander far from its egg point. When the sun comes up or shade is removed, the zombie will run back to its egg point and return to egg form unless it is in combat with a player. On any given night, only a third to half of the zombies will come up, except in swamps and roofed forest which will have all zombies rise every night.
If you break all of the zombie eggs or defeat all of the zombies, the grave goes silent. The crypt might also have some zombie spawn eggs which would be permanently in zombie form due to the darkness, but it would set a number of zombies you will encounter when you go in. There would be a bubble around the graveyard and crypt in which no other monsters would spawn, so once a graveyard has been cleaned it can actually make a little safe zone, even though it only extends a few blocks past the edge of the site.

I want ocean content(thanks Möjang!), nether biomes(again thanks!!), and savanna passive mobs (meerkats incoming!?).
