I thought about some awesome stuff and I thought that if you could tame any mob with [Tame=1,OwnerUUID=...] or something like that it would be awesome because then you could make awesome minigames with it... and you could survive easier with like wither helping you or a iron golem throwing your target in air.
Being a nerd is nothing to be ashamed of. Nerds rule the world! Who invented the internet? Nerds. Who created personal computers and smart phones? Nerds. Who made every video game you've ever played and ever will? Still nerds. Who sent probes to distant planets? Nerds, nerds and more nerds! I'm a nerd and I'm proud.
I think it should be a command, so that mamakers can use it, but players in survival without cheats cant.

Why not in survival ?
I think some new potion could apply a "charm monster" effect. Bosses are immune, doesn't always work too. Stronger mobs more resistant. Short-term effect. Two levels: charmed monsters just stop attacking for a while. They just lose interest in you unless you attack them again (as per a neutral mob). Your own tamed defenders target hostiles only, those mobs aren't hostiles anymore (at least for a little while). At the second level: charmed mobs actually become friendlies and join your side and try to protect you from other hostile mobs, similar to tamed wolves.
Commands are wonderful for mapmakers, sure, but here is a way to add it into the game in survival too !
That potion should not be cheap to make. If you hate the idea of "splash potion" because it affects too may mobs at once, then replace the potion idea with a non-potion single-use item.
Hmmmm... some kind of cupid's arrow item ? Same recipe as Arrow but with Flint replaced with, let's say, a Gold block ? You shoot a mob, it takes some arrow damage and if it survives, it is charmed (but still hurt somewhat). So yeah, you'd try to shoot from VERY close at minimum power lol. Or maybe just a bow enchantment, in which case the odds of charming a monster should be quite low.
In any case, lots of "lol" times to be had with this ! As long as the "price" ain't cheap (and/or it does work always or even only rarely), and the effect not permanent, then there wouldn't be any abuse.
Thank you,

This would extremely boost the creation of adventure maps and RPG servers.
Also, try a more descriptive approach for your suggestions.
