I want things to fit into the game of minecraft, "seatbelts" would not at all. First of all Mine-carts DON'T have seat belts it does not fit with the game nor does it make sense.

Personally, for sticky power rails it looks really similar to sticky activator rails as the gold line is gone. and for all the other rails its the darker shade of the grey on the original rail, is turned to slime colors. So I think it should look more like this;
(I know that the slime part is too light, and sorry for the huge image)

its fine, but at this point, doing all of that does not this has so many supports small texture changes and such won't change Mojang's mind if they decide to add it
how could anyone not love this?!??!? (other than those die hard alpha players)
I do think that there shouldn't be a sticky minecart and sticky rails should just slow down minecarts faster so it also has a use on flat ground (obivously would need more sticky powered rails than normal powerd ones
Ok, but going uphill you would end up decelerating fairly fast. the top speed of a minecart on a powered rail is 8m/s (each block is 1m3) so, assuming minecraft uses 9.81m/s for the acceleration due to gravity you would not be able to travel that high, even with constant powered rails going up. Also, how does steve stay in the cart when it is upside down? and wouldn't having the sticky rails increase the friction between he cart and rail, slowing you down, and how strong is slime? to hold an iron cart and a human it would take some pretty strong slime to keep them from falling, which again, is not good for trying to obtain speed.
Yes, but minecraft already has some basic physics in it, and this would defy those physics to a degree. Unless you want to change how powered rails accelerate minecarts.
It will not include any maths in how are you going to get your minecart around the track without falling or anything like that
Except for the fact that is already does? There is already a basic amount physics implemented into the game, albeit not realistic they still exist. Unless the sticky rails are more powerful than the regular rails and provide a more powerful boost this will not work as intended
This will work as intended as it is going to become a mod. We dont need real life logic. Also its minecraft
Clearly you dont understand, this will still have problems with how the game handles carts. Again, unless the sticky rails provide a higher boost, this will not simply work
This will work as the creator isnt going to be adding a falling onto your head feature. Its simply going to change gravity on a minecart rail when you go on it
Explain how gravity is valid if most blocks float yet Steve falls and obeys (most) gravity.
That's true, but i was referring to free floating entities, not blocks. Minecarts, players dropped items, and several other items are affected by gravity in the game.
Also, please stop saying that it would be impossible to go up a wall! It's Minecraft! Not real life!
Never said it was impossible to go up a wall, I'm just saying that powered rials will give you a maximum speed of 8m/s. gravity on earth is 9.8m/s2 in minecraft is seems to be higher. Simple physics, you aren't getting that far on a vertical rail. on top of that the rails are "sticky" to hold the cart in place, which means that having them accelerate the carts at a higher rate than non-sticky carts is simply ridiculous. it Would make more sense to have something like chain-rails, with drag the cart up as the chain moves, and if the rails have extra rails to hold the cart on, like real roller coasters.
I'm pretty sure that a person surviving by himself would not care for seatbelts.
Also, like baum said, it doesn't fit.

I want things to fit...
Ummmm. What?

correct, gravity is invalid in Minecraft anyway
No it isn't it was calculated a long time ago by i forget who, but its about 19m/s2

Great idea! Can't wait for the mod to come out.
Glad you like it
