Chicken: a slow flying "passive" that does 1/2 heart pecks to the players would be fun while the bad guys wait for nightfall, but there shouldn't be any spawning as passives during night.
Pig: people radar. I like it, but since = shouldn't he AVOID ? I don't think passives other than flying chickens should be playable, period.
Objectives: the players could have a time limit, a resource goal, or even a travel goal (get from point A to point :cool.gif:
Night and day cycles should be VERY short (5 min day, 5 min night, first day starts at noon). After goal is reached/defeated, players and mobs switch places and keep the same map.
Pointer: As long as creepers and ghasts exist, no fort save obsidian, lava, or water will be invincible. To prevent the "invincible fort" problem, see my comment on having "resource goal", "travel goal", or even "first day starts out as nightfall."
@Himatoxic, You can make your banner look better, cleaner and crisper by saving it as a .png file. Jpegs only look good when they're saved on high quality, otherwise they tend to leave ugly smudgy pixels called "jpeg artifacts".
Pro-tip: When making images for the web stick to .png and .gif for maximum image quality.

When playing Mobs and the player becomes a wolf, they should be given the option of being Tamed Or Wild. So they can help the players or they can try and kill the players.
Not sure if this was said before but I don't really care. Well you know aobut the lava problem? Spawn a world without lava, use seeds or something if you can I'm not sure if it's possible. And the tower thing I'm not sure how that could be fix but you could lower the hight caps and if you can't run a very mountonis area. And with the tower more than one monster could reach to get the miner.
EX. The miner made a real high tower and sees a crreper making one to go get him. He build over the creeper, the creeper build out of under him. The miner continues to do so but doesn't see the other creeper, creeoer get's up says That'ssSssSsss a nice tower you got there sssSssssSs *kaboom*! It would bring out more of the team work on the mobs.
ANd for the wolves, the pigs, sheep and cows are pasive but are on the hostil mobs side. So wolves should be on the hostil side until tamed.
EX. Wolf goes to attack miners but miner runs away with having bones out, the counter on the lower right of the screen shows how many bones you need to swith sides. As the miner uses the bones on you, your screen turns blue (asummoning it's tinted red before) and your now on their side. You can't attack the miners but you can attack the hostil monsters. When you die you turn back into a hostil monster once more, whether I'd be a wolf again or another monster. My thoughts
That would be a real game changer. One ghast and a skellie succeeding where hordes of zombies could not.....
It would be cool, but its too cheap. If a human builds a house on a mountain then it would take time for normal mobs to scale the mountain.
With a ghast carrying them, he just floats upwards and drops them all onto the house, then they tear the house apart.

I like that idea, but wolves would need a special ability. maybe they can sniff out players an mobs? (Any suggestions on what that would do?)
Ghasts and creepers can see through walls, so maybe they can see silhouet of players behind blocks within a certain radius.
Creepers can see players though any block.
Ghasts can see players though any block, except glass, which will appear as a white block.
For wolves, since they are able to go through 1x1 why not make them able to dig. They can destroy dirt, sand and leaves but not stone and other blocks because they are too hard. This way dogs can dig under a house that has a dirt floor or dig tunnels to other houses if on the good side. This would give the gamemode a bit more realalistic.
Now if on the miner side they will dig tunnels. To dig a tunnel from house to house could be like one for the wolves and one for the humans. This can also be used to make a sawnping pit for the mobs.
For the miners EX: A wolf digs a tunnel for himself and then makes it big enough for miners buy digging another tunnel below it. Would make a quick passage from house to house.
For the mobs EX: A wolf finds a house of a miner on a hill and goes to dig. He starts a little ways down the hill it's on and digs stright forward. Aftwer he thinks he's underneath it he can either dig up to make sure and either attack or make a spawning pit for his friends.
's cant kill players.
but i really like the idea of players becoming aggresive mobs and hunting down other players!
Still supporting.
Incompetence is a plague. I am the cure.
For all your wolf suggestion needs, I present the WOLF MEGATHREAD!

L4D is awesome. A couple pointers though:

ok, Ill try to make it better.
the skeleton can break the wood under you, and you fall into the 3 angry mobs below. :wink.gif: AND ghasts can blast the house to pieces.
playable, on human side
