Tundras (also known as Ice Plains) are pretty cool biomes, but they have no special animal found in them. I think I may have found the perfect animal to live in tundras. Say hello to the snow leopard.
Snow leopards are rare, neutral mobs found at day and night in tundras. They will try to stay hidden behind blocks and follow players for a while. If the player gets close, they'll turn aggressive and stalk the player for a little longer. Eventually, they'll start running at the player and pounce at them like a spider. After pouncing, they simply chase and attack. If the player gets far away from them, they'll start going faster and pounce when they get close. Pouncing does more damage than a normal attack from a snow leopard. A pounce does 8 damage (4 hearts of damage) on easy, 10 damage (5 hearts of damage) on normal, and 13 damage (6 1/2 hearts of damage) on hard. A normal attack does 5 damage (2 1/2 hearts of damage) on easy, 8 damage (4 hearts of damage) on normal, and 11 damage (5 1/2 hearts of damage) on hard. Snow leopards are normally as fast as a player sprint jumping, but they get as fast as a player sprinting with speed 2 on when they're about to pounce. On normal difficulty and above, they naturally regenerate health as fast as a player does. They have 38 health (19 hearts). A snow leopard drops 1-4 leopard bones and 0-2 snow leopard pelt.
Leopard bones can be converted into 1 leopard bone meal by putting the bone in the crafting table. Leopard bone meal can be used like normal bone meal or brewed into an awkward potion to create a potion of health boost. I made it like this because a powder made from snow leopard bones used to be used in some medicines.
By putting 5 snow leopard pelt in the shape of a minecart, you get a pouch. The pouch opens up a storage space the size of a dispenser when clicked on. By putting 8 snow leopard pelt around a pouch, you can upgrade it to a large pouch. The large pouch has as much storage space as a normal chest. By combining 1 eye of ender with a large pouch, you get an ender pouch. The ender pouch opens up your ender chest storage. Pouches cannot be stacked.
I believe they should be neutral, at least until you get close. I would hate to have to kill such a majestic creature. But I love the idea, I support. Though maybe not the pouch, that's basically from a mod.

I'll add your idea about them being neutral soon. When it comes to the pouch, can you think of any better uses for snow leopard pelt?

Snow leap ore pelt could be used for aesthetic purposes such as fur rugs. Maybe it could be a different coloured leather armor too? For those types of people who want to wear animal faces

My Avatar is a Dalek, therefor your argument is... EXTERMINATED!!!
You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.
Since creepers are scared of ocelots, should I make snow leopards scare away creepers and possibly even kill them? A creeper would not drop any gunpowder when killed by a snow leopard, though.
I like this, but perhaps the attack should go down 1 heart? Also, I think Snow leopards should kill cows and horses if they see them, and if you give them a raw beef, they will become peaceful for a small amount of time. As well, I think they should make no noise when they are stalking the player, and that theyre pelts should be used for rugs.

I want snow leopards to be very strong creatures. I also do plan on adding it so snow leopards kill chickens, rabbits, pigs, cows, horses, and creepers. I'll add in that they don't make noises when they are stalking the player. I will not add the peaceful idea and I will probably not add the rug idea because we already have carpets.
