Rarity: About as common as coal Requirements: Requires stone pickaxe or higher to mine Can be found between hights: 1-64 About: Copper can be found on your pennies, but the ore can be mined in Minecraft!
Copper Ore is the main ingredient in bronze, but not the final!
Tin
Rarity: About as common as coal Requirements: Requires wood pickaxe or higher to mine Can be found between hights: 1-90 About: Dull, and weak with a greenish tint. This is rustier than your average Tin Man.
The secondary ingredient for bronze, but it is primary as Minecraft's weakest ore yet!
Multi-Smelting
Imagine putting two metals in a blender. This is the resault!
It dosn't matter if Tin is on the left and Copper is on the right. It still does the job.
Crafting
ALL ITEMS ARE CRAFTED THE SAME WAY AS THE OTHER TOOLS EXEPT WITH BRONZE INGOTS
Bronze Block
Strength: About as strong as iron blocks when mining. Worth: As much as iron. About: Mainly for display.
No bronze apples (Will look too much like poo).
Bronze Tools
Armor Strength: Same as iron in mining strength, but twice the durability.
Tool Strength: Same as iron in mining strength, but twice the durability.

This is nice, I'd like to see some uses for the two metals seperately as well. Let's make this game Minecraft.

I have decided to have a bottomless spoiler as well, and am not the first but mine is bottomless (kinda).

I have just started making mods but if you would like me too, my team and I could take on this (we have 2 coders, one being me, but were looking for a pixel artist. I like your work pm me if your interested in working with us). This shouldnt take too long. We could have it done by Sunday at the latest but again we need the pixel art.

This is nice, I'd like to see some uses for the two metals seperately as well. Let's make this game Minecraft.
I've seen various threads suggesting the use of pipes in Minecraft, and copper would work wonderfully for that. With pipes (especially if combined with some sort of redstone powered pump system and a grate block that acts similar to a door, but allows liquids to flow through when opened), you could have fun transporting fluids, building traps, etc.
But you should also have the ability to just smelt copper and Tin separately.
I support
This would make storage easier. One could smelt copper ingots and tin ingots. Nine ingots of copper would make a copper block while nine ingots of tin would make a tin block. These would serve the same function as iron, gold, and diamond blocks, and can be de-crafted to yield nine ingots from one block. Multi-smelting a copper ingot and a tin ingot together would make a bronze ingot. Likewise, multi-smelting a copper block and a tin block would make a bronze block that could then be broken up into bronze ingots later.
What I've been shooting for, for quite a long time, is a tier between iron and diamond. This fits the bill, though I think it's needlessly complex. Multi-forging would require an entirely new furnace for a SINGLE operation.
I would suggest being able to craft tools out of the ores (uncombined) and they would be really weak, and then being able to COMBINE the ores together on a crafting table to create bronze.
The names would have to change, since bronze is weaker than iron. BUt I like the concept.

minecraft is like life, you start by beating wood, explore a lot of new things, settle down a bit, finally get that diamond, and then you life starts to suck and you go through hell

I know your kidding around somwhat, but some other people aren't.
How do you even make that connection in the first place?
Sure thing. Thats a nice idea. But mentioned many times before!
And as said before: Bronze is weaker then iron. Wiki a bit our history... There was a time when mankind used bronze weapons to kill each other... AFTER that, they discoverd, that iron was a lot stronger then bronze.
And not long ago... mankind discovered that steel (formed out of iron and coal) is even stronger then iron itself.
So if a multi-smelting furnace is implemented, the gap between iron and diamond can be closed by steal (suggested multiple times before)
so the item hirachy would be: DIAMOND > STEAL > IRON > BRONZE > STONE > WOOD
but anyways... i support the idea of more ores and multi-smelting.

I'm not 100% that copper is stronger than tin, but I think it is. "Tin" sounds like a weak metal.

Copper is indeed stronger than tin.
+ = shinestone?
I made a mixup when designing the banner. Bronze cannot be found naturally and therefore bronze ore does not exist. I hope nobody notices.

Also, add a poll. And you should be able to smelt them alone as well.
Another idea:
Redstone+Copper=16x wire
Transmits signal for longer (infinite?) distance.
