Miner Spectres I would like to see as a new alien-like "Ender" mob, frankly. It'd add some more mystery. I like the layers, but not the mobs aside from the Spectre. Skeleton skulls naturally spawning would make skeleton skulls no longer unique. Miner stations, Roots, and Netherrack, and Nether quartz spawning in such a way I do not support.
Frankly, adding some sort of ambient to each layer would be interesting, like a green ambient to the lush layer, purple hue to the runic. I think the "corrupted layer" should be changed, though, and it could have a suitable ambient for however its changed. That would be interesting. Good ideas, though. Keep em' up!
Ahhhh... Shoot. Some of the information you stated is outdated, need to fix dat!
Thanks for the feed back!

You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.

I like the specter, the golems are a good idea for a mod, the gast and creeper just no. I think it would be better if the different cave levels had a bit more realism to it. I don't know, they just don't give me "That fits" vibes.
feel too much like some RPG runescape stuff to me, Minecraft is a natural with few "civilisations" signs.
as a mod, ok. for vanilla:
No support
I feel like your making excuses to not support. I don't see how this is RPG-y. Also, FYI, Minecraft is an RPG. This has no signs of civilization in the post. And I've seen runescape, this post has little to no similarities at all.

Eh... we do need changes to caves, I think, but I don't think these are the ones we need. They just kind of feel contrived and unfitting. Same with the mobs.

pretty much what I wanted to say...
Unfitting for the style of minecraft, the caves we have looks like naturally generated caves, the one you want to add looks like a dungeon

Top 5 priority of minecraft:
1- Finish the mod API
2- Give brains to villagers (make em more usefull)
3- Add ambiance: birds, fishes, bugs, crabs on beaches, monkeys in jungles...
4- More plants! Aquatic, any fruit tree, bushes....

Make a map. Make a mod. This doesn't fit anywhere near the aesthetic of vanilla minecraft. Maybe try toning back the idea, but this seems absurd right now.

You can a make a map or mod for anything... You can't no support for this reason.
Hey! Maybe there can be ant colonies! With giant ants in them that come in numbers but are weak. They would have big ant caves and in the centre dungeon area. Glow stone will hang from the ceiling and you will have the queen ant which is a boss battle. Mind if I make this as a thread or should it just add to your idea?

This is WAY to universal. Try reading FTC before making your self look like a downright ignorant clown. Sorry for my hostility, but you'll see why it ticks me off.

Where is everything?
Also, I have a few idea for mobs:
-Several kinds of lizards of varying size.
-Olms: they're blind, aquatic cave salamanders. Normally, they are tiny, but it would be cool if they were about cat-sized.
-Some kind of worm creature

Like everyone else, I like the layer and cave idea but not the mobs. Only the creeper actually, that would be pretty cool.
Neutral
But, thanks for the support!
