I know what criticism is. You arent helping the good of this thread and you are supposed to be giving constructive criticism, not bashing me. And I'm sorry if you have a problem with my ideas evolving into a general topic about improving mobs. Also, take the time to properly use commas and periods in your posts, they look a little bit sloppy.
These ideas aren't bad, don't get me wrong, but i see them as more of a mod, and some are oversuggested. The Endermen with a cape sounds cliche. The new spider AI will make these mobs annoying, and ridiculous. The E
Don't worry about it, I'm just glad I got feedback from you. Thank you and I will add more content soon. The thing is however, you can really visualize anyone's idea as a mod because Minecraft has infinite possibilities. 😃
Out of curiosity, why is the Blazing Skeleton both more common AND stronger than a wither skeleton? It both sets you on fire and inflicts Wither, but it appears everywhere in the Nether rather than just Nether Fortresses.
Yes, but here is the thing about any idea. Any idea on this forum could be seen as a mod because the possibilities for Minecraft are endless. Thank you for your feedback too.
I don't really like it how you say all of these cool things should be super rare. What you suggested is very fun, aside from the eye-color stuff. I think the mob effex are really awesome and should always apply.
Some of the abilities may be rare but the majority are common. And besides, if I made them always happen more people would complain than anything else. I'm trying to find a balance for everyone.
All these new mobs are based on traditional gaming elements, mostly having been inspired by games that have a lot diversity. If you look at most of these mobs, they aren't unfamiliar. That's why you can imagine them in a mod. They are familiar elements of gameplay diversity that are missing from Minecraft that a lot of other games have. Don't worry, this doesnt mean I stole these mobs from other games. It simply means that I was inspired to create more variants of mobs by looking at how many variants of enemies there are in other games.
*Still talks like Arnold Schwarzenegger* Where's your sense of adventure? Get out! Lol Anyway thanks for your feedback on the thread, it's very appreciated! 😃
The thread title of the thread has been updated! Not only do we have more Zombies, but apparently we have more Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions! 😃 Enjoy! Yahl!
my thoughts are that changing the looks of a mob is fine but changing the abilities is not fine. Changing stats on the other hand.... i like that. Random stats and random looks for each individual mob would be awesome.
