I give you the Boat with dispenser!
What is it?
So, its a pretty simple ideal,
A boat with a dispenser, so you can have battles at sea. it adds amiable dispensers.
(yeah, that's Roblox studio.)
Why we need it
Its a gameplay mechanic that allows more advanced dispensing. It would be fun to see all of the things you could do with it. It would work just like a regular dispenser. And we could make turrets!
Crafting It
This is the crafting recipe, it uses a dispenser, 3 boats, Redstone, and a Redstone Torch.
Didn't feel like making a item sprite.
Dispensin' Stuff
Right click the boat to get in, Right click the dispenser to, well, dispense.
Or...
Right Click boat to get in, Right click anywhere to dispense in that direction. the dispenser follows your mouse.
either way, right click the dispenser while out of the boat to access dispenser inventory.
How about change the redstone dust into a stone button , and to dispense stuff you either power the block under the boat or right-click the dispenser , also how about change the torch into an iron ingot so that the boat health is a little bit higher ( 4 more health points - 2 bars ) You sneak-rightclick to open the dispenser inventory , it has only one slot . I already can imagine a faction attacking another faction's boats dock using dispenser boats armed with arrows .
Being a nerd is nothing to be ashamed of. Nerds rule the world! Who invented the internet? Nerds. Who created personal computers and smart phones? Nerds. Who made every video game you've ever played and ever will? Still nerds. Who sent probes to distant planets? Nerds, nerds and more nerds! I'm a nerd and I'm proud.
The funny thing is that I'd just rather use a bow while on a boat because:
Arrows are the only thing I need to project (it's not like I'll be projecting diamonds at people)
Bows can project arrows much farther then dispensers via aiming upwards (Something a dispenser can't do).
Bows are not limited to project things in one direction while I am free to aim with ease with a bow.
Using a Bow would be less expensive then this.
No Support. Redundant and infective.
The dispenser can be used as an impromptu storage block. Plus it would be fun to try to take down other players' boat with fire charges and arrows in a vast ocean. Support.

Maybe for like a sever mini game that limits your aim, but it wouldn't be fun however in PVP, when all they need to use is a bow to get a greater tactical advantage over you (because their people, that'll do anything to win), also, no one really uses fire charges in single player (nor PVP?). The Mini game is the only potential I see here.

If anything then it should be a chest, and given that boats are delicate things when porting, I'd say its rather stupid to keep your loot on a boat :/

If you add what's stated above I will support

Though we already have bows, this would be a fun and creative way to take other people down underwater.
No support for same reasons.
Boats are meant fort transport, not fighting.
1- Finish the mod API
2- Give brains to villagers (make em more usefull)
3- Add ambiance: birds, fishes, bugs, crabs on beaches, monkeys in jungles...
4- More plants! Aquatic, any fruit tree, bushes....
5- Ambiant sounds!

added a few things.
I updated my OP. Think how fun this would be, like item frames and fireworks.
Just like what I was thinking.
Turn on a lamp, and maybe you'll see it.
