How about Mojang enable us to connect panes, bars, fences, walls and such in a diagonal line.
Like, instead of only side-by-side, we could, let's say, for instance, make a triangle out of fence, or hey, maybe cirles of glass panes 4x4? Who knows.
Lets say I want to build a fancy-butt house. Now, how about making a gate? Yay, we can, and it doesn't look like a pile of brown wool. It's DIAGONAL.
Lets say we all want to make a diamond shape (geometrical, not the minecraft kind)
If this is added we can.
Or hey, you know those awful times when you're building and you want to enclose an area with animals, or really any other excuse, and the whole thing is ground is level, but in a (geometrical) diamond shape, you can outline it and it DOESN'T look like a big piece of sh-
Anyway, I like the idea, but I know it is probably going to be difficult if they DO decide to do it, after all they don't just have the code lying around.
Plus, it'll probably conflict with something.
Oh dang, I just realised this is categorized incorrectly. Any way for me to fix that, anyone?

That means we can do this:
The view is directly above fences.
· = fence post
/ or \ = diagonal connection
- or | = Regular connection.
·-·
| \
· - ·
Etc.
If this is added we can.

But yeah, no pics. How can i get pics anyway, they don't exist, so there's nothing to take pics of.
And I'm a horrible artist, so i can't draw it.
This would require an entire block placement overhaul. This does not follow Minecraft's physics at all, definitely not fitting.
