Well you get the idea. Throughout the time that we've been playing, we've gotten new additions of things in caves. Like the abandoned mine shaft and all that stuff. What Im talking about is a actual biome where you can get a bunch of stuff. Think of it as a gold mine of resources. Where its really rare to find, but when you do, its surrounded by emeralds, diamonds, gold, and maybe even a specific item that you can only get from there. I just think that would be cool if they implemented that into the game. What do you think?
Minecraft's biome can't be stacked vertically. If something i a forest biome, it will be a forest biome from y=0 to y=216. Therefor, this would need to be a generated structured to be properly implemented. I'd like to see more information, this suggestion is pretty vague.
Biome's aren't three dimensional, they're two dimensional from a birds eye view, meaning there cannot be a biome under a biome such as in caves.

- "abunch of stuff": Vague.
- "a specific item": Vague.
- Does the biome have a name like every other one?
- Resources are easy enough to find (Imo), we don't need a biome dedicated to them. No Support.
If cubic chunks are implimented, then biomes will also probably be cubic as well (right now they are linear and go by columns) allowing you to make biomes under or above other biomes.
Theoretically, biomes do not need to be coded on a per-chunk or per-column basis. It is entirely possible for biome to be stored by other means, such as in a completely separate file. The issue with this is that a lot of Minecraft's code requires biomes to be stored in the same files that blocks are stored in, and moving away from this is both a huge amount of work and should be a completely separate suggestion. This, coupled with the fact that this suggestion is extremely vague, means no support from me.

The sad fact, unfortunately.
