Hello MOJANG. I am creating a large world in Creative mode in single player, and I wanted to sort of "Copy and paste" the world to play it in hardcore with friends on multilayer. But after doing some research, I discovered that using seeds dont spawn exact biomes. In the next update, could Mojang create a "copy and paste" feature for minecraft servers and worlds, since seeds are not reliable for perfection? I know its a stupid question, but it would be very nice to have. We all know how exciting hardcore is on multiplayer, but cheats are disabled, so building castles and custom biomes are impossible, so why not create one in creative mode? But what my Idea is, instead of using the commands to switch game mode, just make a "new world" with epic creations in it? You will have two of the excact same worlds, and you can do one thing with the copy you dont want to do with the original! And hardcore is just an example. You can put it on survival, adventure, publish the copy as a public multiplayer server, and keep the original as your own, well, whatever you want to do with it. Adding a "copy and paste" feature may sound simple, but its a more preferable and perfect alternative to seeds, that merely spawn default worlds and biomes most of the time. Ugh, seeds. How complicated. MOJANG, If you are reading this, you can respond either by replying "No, we wont add it because its a stupid idea and we hate it, even though its so simple and there is no major reason we cant do it", or by adding this feature into a Minecraft update.
1)Make your epic world.
2) Make your hardcore world with any seed.
3) Go into the game file and delete the hardcore world Gen file.
5) Put the epic world's file in.
