Quick Suggestion...
I was just thinking to myself that there is a dimension called the "Nether" and its forever loading and unloading new chunks and having infinite world!
So why not include this in the end? It would become infinite AFTER you kill the ender dragon! So lets say you find the end portal, you go in it. Then its normal size as it is now, but when you kill the Dragon and leave, then you re-enter, its like infinite end?
Not technically ONE big land mass, but maybe islands that you have to bridge to in order to go further to make it a little harder! Far enough away you cant ender pearl to each island!
This would also be great if they added more aspects/mobs to the "End" and i dont see any game changing effect it would have on the game seeing the nether is infinite!
Oh i should also add, the void is still there and there is the risk of mining right through the island and dying!
There could obviously be more factors i might have you add, but my suggestion is to make "the end" infinite but not technically one big land mass! If you have anything to add or criticize then feel free!
Support is definitely appreciated but your opinions matter! Please like this post if you do support!
I kinda like the idea of a bunch of little islands after you kill the dragon.
Half support.
Oh, and take away the part where you say that you want more mobs. I mean, first of all, I don't support that. But that is taking it dangerously close to a wishlist. Also, the green arrow isn't liking it. It's reputation (I'm pretty sure).
I really am not sure what to think. Here's a thought: wouldn't allowing an infinite End detract from the finality - and after killing the EnderDragon, loneliness - of the End? I mean, it's supposed to be an ending to the game, not some vast wasteland to explore. The whole purpose of the dimension is to add some finality to the game. I feel like an infinite world, especially if any other blocks or mobs were added, would not feel "final" in the sense that it would become a permanent fixture in most people's worlds instead of just somewhere to "finish" the game. Also, the crushing lonesomeness and lifelessness of the dimension after the dragon is defeated kind of makes me feel like that dimension serves to harbor the dragon and nothing else, which is kind of the truth. An infinite terrain, with more mobs especially, would not serve that purpose very well.
No support, I think. I'm confused and haven't even had breakfast.

I see what you are saying about the finalization of the game, that makes alot of sense but in a way after you beat the dragon the world is useless... You make a ender farm then the world is really useless! You would still feel final because you have the dragon egg and therefore ran through the credits! You know you beat the game so i think the finalization of the game would no longer be a feeling!

I didnt say "ADD" the mobs to the game, i said "i dont know" if they should be added! Just a thought!

But it isn't the final place. Minecraft doesn't end.
I'm not saying there's an end to the game, but the dimension the End is supposed to be a sort of final hurrah to the game. There is no real finishing the game, but the End and it's boss was added to be an end-game goal. The dimension houses the boss. If you add more, it loses what makes it a special place - that it houses an end-game boss and nothing else. The End loses any reason to be called the End if you take away what made it the End in the first place.

1. If the island were far enough you can't ender pearl to them, wouldn't they be out of sight, even at pretty far render distances? What about short render distances?
2. The End is for fighting the dragon, what's the purpose? Why would you want to explore it? Why would you go through the effort to bridge to these vast empty masses of land?
3. It would be great if they add new mobs? For instance? Why would we need more mobs? You need to elaborate.

It would become infinite AFTER you kill the ender dragon!
ow!.. ow!.. There could be like a big purple forcefield keeping you in the "arena" island (where you fight the Ender Dragon) which deactivates when dragon's slayed? (witch is funny because they just so happened to be implementing boarders) I think that'll add more logic to the reasoning and be epic at the same time.

Redundant, and I think you should be able to "ender pearl" to them.

Yup... I think more End content should go "hand in hand" if you're going to expand the End.
This is an awesome idea, Im sick of people discarding ideas for a better End by saying, "Its just meant to be an arena for the Ender Dragon, not a dimension you explore." because that is a stupid excuse. Just because something was mean't to be one thing, and people want it to continue as another, doesn't mean it must never ever change. Support In Oversized Red Text.
What exactly would the point of an infinitely-sized End (landmasses) be? I don't find a bunch of islands of End stone to be very appealing; the only time I ever go to the End is to kill the dragon (of course), afterwards it might as well not exist (heck, if I was ever tight on space for some reason I'd even delete the DIM1 folder; the Nether is actually the same way).
Meh, to me the end is just a boss arena "level", way too ugly to become a full dimension.
And given that the overworld is where most players send most of their time and the HUGE amount of features that could be added to make it more fun and better looking(ocean content etc etc etc too long list to count), any effort spent on making an infinite end is to me the equivalent of less features made for the overworld.
More islands, as well as some new 'Ender' mobs (Ender Titan golem made out of obsidian anyone?), maybe some obsidian spire dungeons like the Battletowers mod, and the End could be a great post-Wither/Dragon area for when you get enchanted diamond gear.
This leads to ores, caves and dungeons in end, otherwise it's boring. But those ores need crafts otherwise they're useless. I'll support it only if you'll have a suggestion of that kind.
Off topic sorry, but is it possible to run out of reputation to give? How does it work?
I think that, whenever you see a post that you really like, for whatever reason, you can press it. This will give them one reputation. Then, on their account page, it will say how much reputation they have. Like, I have somewhere around 400, though I don't honestly know how that happened. And as far as I know, I think that you don't run out.
Now, this is fine, but next time you have a question, you can also PM me.
Well, "The End" is infinite as it is, there just happens to be only one island.
Simply adding more islands without any features is pointless. Yes there would be endless amounts of End Stone, but what the point of that? Do one really need that much End Stone?
A new ore (Not nessicarily tools and armor), new Ender dungeons made of obsidian, a few new mobs and items, maybe an Enderman miniboss, and you've got a great endgame area.

TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
What would you do with infinite amounts of endstone? Make your base look pretty? I think we have enough endstone for our house in the normal end...
Sorry, but no support.
You can not grasp the power of my avatar changing attack!
Don't be afraid to report vague, wishlisty, or redundant (Maybe all three) suggestions. Leave a post saying what's wrong.

So, not really all that hot on this one, sorry.

I was thinking the same
However, It's not a bad idea but it's doesn't needs to be a full dimension because that's what makes it special.
(Click on one of them :P)
Maybe you can hatch the egg using an endermite to fertilize it, jeb was actually talking about it on twitter.
I really don't know what to put here...
