Recently I got an idea (no sh*t, Sherlock), what if we could rotate stuff on Minecraft? What if we could make a pretty decent elevator without water, or maybe some secret passage at your castle. That's when I'd the idea of the gears. It's simple, it's easy.
Basically the whole concept is that:
With some iron, you have to create two things:
First, the gear:
[] []
[] []
And tah-dah, I'll got a gear!
The secound step is to create a 'zip'
[] []
And I'll have this time the zip:
"So, how it'll work?" - You ask me.
"It's simple..." I say.
Everybody knows that besides making tools and decoration (maybe a watcher and a compass too), the iron/gold/diamong are useless. So why to not make then movable like gravel or sand? At least with the zip on it. How it'll work:
You have to create a iron/diamond/gold block -------->
Edit: I've failed, clicked submit insted of preview
Then you put the zip on the sides of the box. Connect the gear with redstone. Everytime is on, the gear should rotate and pull or push the zip and the block on it.

Huge sucess!
