Just as all of your other ideas, these beasties are epic. I also have some ideas of my own about the Cockitrice; spawns at night, has glowing yellow eyes, and used as an exclusive mount to Goblin villages. Also, what is this Aether you speak of?
Look at my siggie :smile.gif:, the getSatisfaction post also contains the link to the forum post here, but just in case you don't feel like bothering you can find it here.[/quote]
But do we really need a Sea Moa? I think these are good enough to give us a few year's worth of WIN.
I have been thinking of an idea for a while. What if there were two species that fought together. Ex: if you overlap the respawn time for the cockatrice and normal moa, and they found each other they fight. Now if you take this on a bigger scale, like 30 or 40 against each other.......... MASS CHAOS ACTIVATE!!!!!!! :tnt:. The only problem i see right now is that we only have retarded farm animals that can't hurt you, or you have the night creatures that gang up on you and eat your soul. And if you accidentally wander into something like this, everything attacks you, whether it's normally nice to you or it tries to kill you on sight, it attacks you even though you haven't done anything...as long as it's not fighting anyone else. I know this is probably going to be tough to program and work out kinks but i think it's a cool idea.
P.S. sorry if this is totally unrelated, but posting ideas on popular forums gets them seen more

I own you with 7 kinds of win.....now it's on like DONKEY KONG
ok first of all, i said MOST birds don't do well in water.
second, penguins don't walk on water. They swim through it, and are very streamlined and have special waterproof feathers.
third, These Moa (that is the plural, right?) do not have a body shape built for swimming. They are built for running at high speeds hence the long legs and small body.
Moa being able to swim would be fine, but they should swim slowly. I feel that it should be just a little bit slower than you swim.
That's why I am saying to MAKE ONE that can swim/walk on water. You seem to have forgotten that Minecraft isn't a purely real-life based game and DOES have fantasy aspects. So what if birds in reality aren't good with water (also, what about Seagulls and Albatross?). Do you see birds that can make you slow down by simply looking at you? I didn't think so.
But no matter how much you disagree with the idea of a Swimming Moa, it would appear as if I got my wish granted. Check the first page.
