I skimmed through the archive and didn't see anything about this, surprisingly.
Now the basic idea is just that you can name your single-player worlds something else besides just "World 1" or "World 2." Nothing that I think is really too complex, and I think it would help people remember what world is what, etc.
Maybe you could also add a description to the world? Don't know how hard that would be, but I think this would help even more, but just being able to name the worlds would be nice too.

It-s not hard, there-s a mod that let you name your worlds, it just saves a txt file along with the save an reads the first phrase or a limit of characters.
Yea, I let my friend and my cousin play and they each started their own world for when they come over, and it's like world 2 and 3 or 2 an 4 or 5 or something.. See? I don't know! Haha, I'd love this. I actually thought about naming worlds a few days ago.

Personally I don't like using mods on minecraft since they require too much work since minecraft is not made compatable with mods easily.
I think I speak for many people when I say: We want notch to make it.
