i like the ideas of the boots and the bouncesteps.
but, why only 1 block higher?
why cant you fall from 4 high with boots instead of 3?
cause you can already fall from 2 high without losing a life!
maybe the bomb may be trown like a arrow in a bow?
then just slowdown the mobs there. that would be great!
btw i never found slimes in my life!
Same here, though I have, just once, run across some dropped slimeballs. So there must have been a slime somewhere, but it died for some reason. Can't figure out why.

I always have slime appearances at the bottom of my mine shaft. But when you fall 4 blocks... you take fall damage. So If boots could let you jump 4 blocks high, and you jumped in place, you would take damage every time you jumped in place! So thats why its only 3 blocks high.
I feel that slime is limited as to what can be made with it. However I feel as if there is one thing I've not discovered yet that will blow my mind. Wonder who could think of it?
I always thought that slime would be used in combination with redstone.
= Slimeball
= Redstone Dust
Now if we combine the two on a crafting table like so...
[] [] []
[] []
[] []
We get ; Sticky Redstone Dust
Sticky Redstone Dust has a few uses;
1. It allows you to stick Redstone Dust on walls. This is a useful feature, as it allows you to make your circuits in more places.
2.It insulates the Redstone Dust. When laid next to non-sticky Redstone Dust, the two will not cross or connect. To connect Redstone Dust to Sticky Redstone Dust, you must use a Redstone Torch. This feature allows you to make more intricate and compact Redstone Circuits.
This is just the idea I had. Constructive criticism, please.

Very well thought out. But if sticky redstone can only be put on walls (I assume), then redstone torches would have to be put on corner of vertical/horizontal walls. Not so intricate if you think about it. But I like this idea, as I've been frustrated about not being able to put redstone on walls. I like how you implicated the the slime is sticky, but can it be gelatinous as well? Meaning could you form a "4-way connector" shown in crafting table as:
( = slime ball) ( redstone torch)
[] []
[] []
So that a source of redstone can go into one direction and output 3 different directions with the limit of 15 starting over in every direction. I don't know, just a thought.
I think the issue was more of "why suggest something that needs a 4x4 crafting grid to make, when you could have done it this way"
which could be done on the pre-existing 3x3 workbench.
Well, actually, it was the whole thing in itself. Is all the glass surrounding the slimes green or what? Like is there just gonna be green blobs in the center and window panes on the outside? Im still confused.

Wow Seriously.... lol. O.K will try and break it down.
@GreyAcumen Like all "fancy" colored blocks - such a solid diamond, gold, iron or lightstone block (even a cloth block) it requires 4x4 workbench to craft it. 4x4 is the standard color block craft guideline in game so that's why I designed it that way. 3x3 is only used if you have raw mats like clay blobs, snow balls or soon to be square watermelons *cough*I so want *cough* all other main solid block designs use 4x4 (even TnT, bookcases, golden apple, jukebox all uses 4x4.) You're a good peep with good ideas so I know that would have cleared it up for you xox LMAO! You are right, I was wrong, I mixed up 3x3 for 4x4 and and 2x2 for 3x3
@ xKillaCuddleSx
My 4x4 design would produce one single green colored glass block. Just one. Yes it uses a lot of mats for one single block but again that is what happens when you currently craft color blocks in game. You just get the one out of all those mats. Once you have that single glass block you can then use it to aesthetically enhance your world. (I.E That green glass block is used to make things pretty.)
So this:-

Those "raw materials" you seem to be talking about are crafted like this;

Seriously I truly believe that something simple needs to be made with slime, as fun as magic boots or damage resistant floors sound I don't see it being made, something like a block of green glass, jell-o, is simple and would be pretty ... *goes back to corner*

Alright I get it now. Thank you for the explanation. Kinda off topic, but would it be possible to make other colored glass with your idea? And if so, what materials would you think should be required?

We should be able to throw slime balls into small bodies of water (say no larger then 10x10) to form green swamps.

Um, what kind of purpose would the swamp serve? I'd like to know more, please. Also I like this idea and (throwing some of my ideas in here) the swamp would serve a lesser found material. This would be the mossy block. If a swamp was within 5 blocks of cobblestone, it would make it mossy. Sound decent?
lol... I thought "colored window" was pretty straight forward as it comes. Aesthetics is always the purpose in my game ;-p
