..welcome, and if you've been following Notch's tumblr (notch.tumblr.com), you'll probably notice that he's trying to keep Minecraft in the "Medieval-transitioning-into early 1750s" era. Nice idea though.
Ok, I guess... But I don't like your post. If you want something done in this world, try to use at least an adequate amount of grammar and spelling in your propositions. And Notch DID say that he would add some kind of flying transportation. Also, airplanes would way outdate the game, ruining the spirit of it.
Would they? Would they really?
I imagine they'd take a lot of time to build, and then you'd have to maintain it (parts would take damage over time (landing gear, wings, etc) and you'd need to have a long runway to take off and land on, else you'd risk severely damaging or even destroying the plane. This would mean most of the time you'd have to walk to an area first to build a runway before you could even land there.
Maybe it could run on coal too, so you'd have to bring along enough fuel or you'll end up possibly gliding into a cliff-side.
With large multi-player servers, planes would be quite useful in traveling from one settlement to the next. I don't see huge bomber-type ones making it in, but small two-seaters would be cool, give it the storage space of one crate and it would be a faster way to take light loads of goods and/or a paying passenger.
Add in biomes, and I could see planes really making sense. you could use them to search for new lands and biomes, but you wouldn't always be able to land anywhere, it would have to be on a long totally-flat stretch of land like a desert or plains type area.
I'd imagine planes would be a late-game creation, something you can finally create after finding enough rare minerals and gathered enough resources to make it feasible. Add in a possible future anti-gravity block and I think it might take a lot of effort to get.
Why was this thread randomly revived. I thought necrothread was an un-curable disease.

I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death, Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works
