Hi. I'm a brand new user to both Minecraft and these forums. While I am digging the game(hehe), I do have one small suggestion. If there was some way to know what I was looking at in my inventory was, that would rock(hehe).
Okay enough puns. In all seriousness, some sort of mouse-over ID would be extremely helpful to myself and other new users to Minecraft. I'm not asking for hand-holding here with stats and what-not, just identification. I don't know what gunpowder is. And what is that shiny black rock that doesn't burn when I put it in the furnace?
Quick example of how it could work in-game: The user has their inventory open, rolls the cursor over an item like sand blocks, presses the Shift key, and little bubble pops up saying " XX Sand Blocks". No more information than the item name and the number of them.
That iis my suggestion. Thanks for listening.
