Hello, I just recently found the game during the free play weekend. As soon as the servers came up I purchased it. I really wanted to reward Notch for all his hard work. Great stuff so far, keep it up.
During my first few hours it was the most natural thing in the world to try and make cloth armor. Same patterns as the leather armor. I was surprised that it wasn't a recipe. It seemed like such a natural use for all the wool. I've read a couple posts that it was an armor type that has been removed. I'm not sure about the basis for removal, but I feel it should come back with whatever changes are needed to fix the original reason for removal.
I was just so surprised that it didn't work as a recipe. It feels naturally like it should be a part of the game.
Thanks,
JtS

It would be cool because it would add a new armor type to the game, as sometimes it can be increasingly difficult to find cows, but sheep are everywhere, and you can get large amounts of wool by shearing them. It might not be as good as leather, but it would also be good for a roleplaying aspect. I think that if there was cloth armor, they should change the look a bit, and make it seem more like clothes than armor, as it would be useless as armor, essentially.
