If you've used mods like Better World Generation or Skylands Forge, you know what I mean. Of course I can't have a void or anything like that, but I just have no idea how to recreate the terrain seen on top of the floating islands. I know that the Coordinate Scale must be the same as default (684.412), but I know no other numbers for this generator. Because of the large overhangs you may sometimes see there you would expect the Upper Limit Scale and/or Lower Limit Scale to be different. Biome Depth Weight and Biome Scale Weight should both be set to 0 (impossible with the sliders). But I know nothing else. However, I am convinced that if I fiddle around with it enough I can get pretty close (except for the fact that there will still be ground below y=64). Can someone help me? I am not talking about the actual skylands, just the terrain.
I have done some further digging into the properties of Skylands terrain and saw this one line, d *= 2D, which means that the Coordinate Scale gets multiplied by 2 before it is further manipulated. This means that the Depth Noise Scales should be kept the same, but the Main Noise Scale X and Main Noise Scale Z should be changed from 80 to 40, I believe.
