I noticed that the custom world presets are just a string of code closed in these: { } after copying one of the presets I then went to the superflat presets and selected the tunnler preset, adding the customs code at the end. Unfortunately my computer is old and has bad processing speed anyway so it sat on "loading terrain" for quite awhile before crashing.
Does this actually crash the game or do you think it can it be played on a better working computer? I'm curious to see if the custom preset effects world generation despite set layers or if it would only effect which layers ore generates on.
Custom presets are much different from superflat presets. Superflat presets just have code for each layer, while custom presets have all this code for determining how the terrain should generate and how ores should generate, so that is why your game crashed. It has nothing to do with how old the computer is or the processing speed.
