How far up would you say cloud level is at? I'm trying to make a natural-looking world with superflat. I have a giant lake in the middle that's 10 blocks deep, with 3 blocks under that down to the shale. I was gonna have the edges of the world be a lot higher in general, but not 150 blocks higher...

The game normally generates terrain at around a Y of 68, and cloud level is around a Y of 128.
You will spawn about 200 blocks up; dig straight down and you should find that the world is layered.

lol m2k
And right after you told me to do it... xD
Yeah, but here is the problem. There are only three layers at the top, and the rest is completely solid.

I suppose one can only do so much to mimic what happens when the game breaks, without actually breaking the game.
200? At ground level? ...

After my 5th attempt I finally did it
