Try Aleksa Vuruna,i did not know that the terrain generator knew my name.

Edit:Serbia works too,i spawned in a swamp like terrain.

I have no idea if you posted this seed or not but it is: "Minecraft1.0" no qoutes. I spawns you in a NPC village and you can take wheat from their farms and their houses. It is pretty cool.

Weird seeds o.O i checked out some of them

I tested Aleksa Vuruna again,it spawned me near a EPIC abandoned mine very close to a NPC village that has WHEAT! When the wheat grows fully,if there is some source of light(not requiered,but improves the looks) the villager comes and "destroys" the wheat,so you can collect it. Infinite bread! Oh,and if you are playing hardcore or survival,the mine has many torches you can collect,but watch out! If you see many spider webs near a tunnel,it is a cave spider spawner.

What are the coordinates for the mountain in the 'Mars' seed? i spawned nowhere near a mountain... can someone please help?

Scratch that, 2 ravines and mushrooms not in a swamp!
And random flowers in the middle of the second ravine.
At the bottom.
And there's a weird slit in the wall.
I even found a triple vein of coal, iron, and iron!

Currently standing on a sky-limit dirt block (large spiral tower) in peaceful, using OptiFine, loading the next 512 chunks, with all other graphics things disabled, attempting to see if there is anything at all visible on the map. So far? 2 islands that don't look like they have trees on them. Yeah.

Edit: Also just started using a stupidly simple texture pack just to speed things up a bit. FPS? 4-5.

Probably because they only work on older versions of the game.

A map I just found is a pretty cool one. The name is "Bi Polar Bear" This map contains many islands. Its all forest and swamp. There are two volcanoes in the ocean at (-54,-79) and (148,46). A simple, but entertaining map.

142005- spawns you in a forest walk over to a desert 100 blocks away. The desert is 300 blocks big go across it to really wierd looking mountains the coords are x-435 and z-122 awesome world.

Village- this seed spawns you on a mountain if you go to the coords x-467 z-427 you will be on a small island with no trees

Bigjumps- this seed spawns you on a tree by a desert behind you run through the desert to a big NPC village which has three lava pools behind the village

Humanpeople- go to the coords x-500 z-646 for a big NPC village

Harry Potter- you spawn turn around go over the hill to a big NPC village

Fathith- you spawn on a small island with one tree and a few other small islands nearby

Pie- Spawns you on a plain, walk southeast a bit and you find a awesome mountain range. Oh and sheep spawn in groups of 4: white, black, brown and grey all over the place.

Ok, I did some more exploring, and this seed is awesome! Here is a map:

You spawn near the surface lava pool in the lower-left. At the rocky area to the Northeast is the entrance to the mineshaft. There are rooms and tunnels with wooden structures, spider webs, waterfalls, half flooded areas, mob generators, plenty of ores, chests, etc. Amazing! Below are some pictures.

My position marked on the map is the zombie room - it is quite far from the entrance, under a lake. I am not sure if I will ever find my way out.

I didn't discover this one, but it works in both 1.8 and 1.0. Spawn on hill, nearby desert and on the other side of the desert is a pine forest, and farther along are TWO surface dungeons on the way to an npc village, also good mountains on both sides of desert, and another surface dungeon across a mountain range near the pine cores. I found the desert good for testing stuff.
