I'd be very interested to see the code for this. I'm currently looking for a good map with lots of land, and a jungle mountain biome south of x0 z200 but within a 2k radius of x0 z0. It's not going very quickly, and I don't really want to ask you to find me one, I prefer to be self sufficient whenever possible, but honestly, coding something that scans a seed for biomes is beyond me at this point. I might be able to modify your existing code to suit my needs however. (assuming you're willing to share it, I would completely understand if you didn't want to)
Alternatively, If you made a version that people could download and set what biomes they want the map to have within a certain radius, you would be my hero.
My seed described above, -7466601324544625476, has a jungle at -888, 208 and extending south and west of that coordinate, Jungle & Jungle Hills.
The code is still basically as given in the other automatic 'all' biome seed search topic
It requires linux X-windows to send key sequences and grab screen shots of the AMIDST application.
It then does heavy image processing to find symbols, and as such is slow.
However if you give me the biome type you want, I'll get you a swag of seeds with that biome close to 0,0
My first version was to do this for mushroom biomes, so it is a fast and minor tweek of code to change the biome or biomes to look for.
Note a AMIDST seed search is good, but it is nothing to people reporting seeds that they looked at in game. I remember one 1.6 seed that contained a very large number of dungeons (many duals, a few triples, and 2 quads) all close to spawn. But you can only do that in game.
That is a very rare seed KayaDash. They are rare to begin with, and mushroom biomes generally are islands, and very very rarely peninsulas. If one is found it is unlikely to be at 0,0
Hmmm I learned that jungles are now much much rarer. It was thus not part of my 'rare biome' search criteria.
More so the Jungle Mountains. I wonder what they look like? Jungle Hills was bad enough for navagation, jungle mountains..?
But then you can get vines from swamps, and ferns from tiaga. It is only the jungle trees and jungle temples that are now unique to jungles.
This will make getting chiseled stone much much rarer than it was in 1.6.. Extremely rare and probably now worth a number of diamonds. In fact it is now 'the treasure' of jungle temples.

My favorite spot in my old world was in a plains, where you could stand in one spot on a hill and see most of the other biomes (except for swamp).
I sat down with Amidst today, manually trying seeds for a few hours, and was disappointed to only find a few were even sort of interesting to me.
it would have been nice if when adding all the world generation options, they had an option to turn off like-biomes-next-to-like-biomes. I like variety for my game far more than I like the pseudo-realism.

AntOfThy - I've been searching for a seed with all biomes within ~6k of spawn (or as close as possible) on large biomes. Message me privately if you find one.
KayaDash - The seed "mushmushmush" gives you a large mushroom island near the map center, and has bryce mesa west and ice spikes east, although they are a couple km out even on normal biomes.

It may well be impossible, and mushroom island guarantees you will get ocean, and hot/dry and cold/wet biomes are meant to be well separated. The fact that you are managing almost all is a great feat, and worth publishing.
What is you biome criteria list, Just a list of all biomes and there colors would also be good.
NOTE: Mega Spruce Tiaga has 2 different colors! I am not certain why.

I'm aware of that. It is "Mega Spruce Taiga" and "Mega Spruce Taiga Hills".
They've got different biome IDs but the same name in game.
My script is searching for:
- Ice Plains Spikes
- Mesa
- Savanna
- Jungle
- Mega Taiga
- Roofed Forest
So as you can see i'm not really searching for the special technical biomes (exception ice spikes) because i do a manual review of all results afterwards.
Matching all of the criterias described above with max distance +/- 2000 blocks is rare so you can easily check the few results and see if for example spruce taiga/mesa bryce and so on is present.
I don't want my script to overlook a perfect world, just because mesa bryce was missing.
You don't have to worry about usual forests, plains, swamps and deserts because they are always present. I treat Mushroom Island as a bonus. I'm not throwing seeds away because mushroom is missing.
•Strongholds AT or VERY near(Within 16 chunks) spawn so that the end portal is always loaded which lets you make special redstone machines.
•Multiple witch huts very near each other.
•Savannah M island.

I mainly want these for certain world design for my nephew's server. I've already made some crazy designs for it, but I don't have the seed to put them all together!

Okay you search is for general biome types, not rare biome types.. It is an important distinction.
