This seed sounds a bit odd, right? It was back in 1.3 when I first discovered it, before I knew of Glacier or 404 or Gargamel. I was simply giving the seed selector a try, and this came up. The first thing I noticed about it was the skeleton dungeon next to my spawn. While I had a nice place, the seed spawn had a huge range of locations it could pick. Consequently, it wasn't THAT great, but I still found it to be a good seed in general, with interesting terrain and fun exploration.
But how does this affect us now? The terrain generator is different now!
It's BETTER NOW!
The seed now:
It always spawns you in an oceanside pine forest, cut in half by a shallow ravine. Under this forest are many secrets, the locations of which I have forgotten. There's also a desert.
This is the Hope Pit, where the shallow ravine drops into another ravine to reveal many, many secrets. Near the Third Ravine dig to fine another ravine with some interesting formations, and behind the source block for water is a cave. There's a double spider dungeon somewhere, but I've forgotten most of the caverns. Ignore the vines in this screenshot, I was messing around.
This is a screenshot of the coast of the pine forest. Sorcery buildings not included.
The interface between forest and desert. I don't actually know the location of this, I just search the edge of the forest.
If you have 1.9 prerelease 3 this is critical. At the place where I built my portal, you must place one too... To land in a Nether dungeon...
The Ancient Seed's Nether:
The Nether in MMAAPPDDLLKKJJHHGGAAMMNNDDUUKKEE is even more astounding than the many surprises of the surface.
When you land in this small dungeon, look through the tunnels for a staircase covered in lava. From here on, you'll need to either be in creative mode or you'll need to be a pro. Get to the floor above the staircase and find your way out to the open dungeon, as a landmark there will be one blaze spawner. Now things get tricky. From here you need to leave this fairly average dungeon and travel forward. As a landmark there is a massive sea of lava, marked at first by this:
This is a lava fall that is still forming when you find it.
From here you will find a few floating Netherrack islands, like this one.
Now you have reached the Lesser Darking, a massive fortress complex in a sea of lava. I have NEVER explored the Darkings, personally, so I know nothing of what's inside.
Many parts of the Lesser Darking resemble a prison complex. Maybe long ago this place was used to contain the evils of MMAAPPDDLLKKJJHHGGAAMMNNDDUUKKEE?
This side of the Lesser Darking is mostly a network of bridges. Maybe in a bygone time the Lesser Darking was even greater than it is now.
More screenshots of some of the high-wall areas. But there are TWO Darkings, and this one is the Lesser Darking for a reason. Are you ready... FOR ADVENTURE!?
This is the view of the Lesser Darking from the route to the Greater Darking. This is to give some reference as to where to go.
This is a small floating Netherrack island, called the Keystone. It is a crucial landmark on the route to the Greater Darking.
This wall heralds the Greater Darking. The last leg of your Nether Journey begins.
This is the main exterior of the Greater Darking, a lot of it is underground and consequently I have no idea what to expect here.
The Greater Darking sports some serious dungeons.
Another view of the crazy fortress.
One of the multiple entrances to what looks like a vast underground network.
A curious section of the Greater Darking. One wonders what its purpose was.
Last screenshot, this shattered bridge makes me wonder if there is a tunnel connecting the two Darkings. They aren't too far apart and I know for a fact that there are parts of both Darkings that I have never seen.
So there you have it folks!
Please post your discoveries and such, and definitely take a good look.
Help Wanted!
My computer is **** so I can't make videos, so if you have a good computer could you make a flying around type of tour of the Nether with f1 and f8 enabled? I'll edit. I'm also curious as to how a Let's Play would come out, so anybody is welcome to try that.
Due to the length and randomness of the seed, I'm not 100% sure that I typed it right. If you don't spawn in a pine forest let me know and I'll fix that.

Things I wish I could do: Undo everything I ever did on the internet before the year... I dunno... 2013
Actually, did you put The Ancient Seed in the seed box? Because the seed is MMAAPPDDLLKKJJHHGGAAMMNNDDUUKKEE. If I typed that correctly.
You did....there's a massive fissure nearby...I think it's lethal fall distance...but the skeletons will be more than happy to shoot you if you fall in anyway.

Just waiting for Forge to officially release for 1.13.x to remove unneeded mobs from 1.13, like Phantoms, from the game because, in my gameplay based opinion, they add nothing of value to the game.
Fun fact: Clicking a bed every 30 minutes doesn't make you a better player, it makes you one who clicks a bed every 30 minutes. Wouldn't you rather just mod them out of the game completely?
Believe it or not, you can jump into the 'shallow' ravine and heal any fall damage, and then jump from there to some of the deeper water in the deeper ravine.

To get the world the OP is referring to, you have to be using a 1.9 release, but the seed will generate maps in other releases just different ones.
