I definitely say this is a 5 star seed, not because it's a deserted island start, those seem to be a dime a dozen, but because it's the only deserted island start I've seen with a substantial natural cave. I tried it last night and let's just say the creepers won that match, but I'll be giving it another go, gotta know what's down there.

Doing better today than last night. There's a VERY big coal seam and a small amount of iron on the way down that you can get in daylight hours without putting yourself in too much danger. You should be safe from creepers until the ledge where the lava ends, after that the cave branches off in several directions. I've been walling them off and tackling them one at a time, so far one just loops back around on itself but has iron, not sure about the rest yet. Food is a big problem until you can get a wheat farm established. If you can find a spider (I haven't ran into one yet) you could make a fishing pole instead. Thanks to some bonemeal and some rain I've got 20 plots of wheat planted now, and the whole island lit up so nothing spawns at night, which should keep me going just fine. This is a very challenging seed indeed.

In the next few days I'm launching a cooperative survival server with that seed if anyone is interested. It's just too good a seed not to use.

This may ruin the mood, but if you find a tiny little stub of land fairly close to the island, and you keep going in that direction, you will hit land in about 3 minutes.

Its Almost a Perfect Survival Seed!

1. It has 1 tree.
2. I perfect large cave.

But there is no sugarcane xD

Can I give a link for an easy map. Its same I just add mob spawners so it will become easier from pigs (giving food).

Anyone else having any trouble getting livestock to spawn?
