Hey guys, i was wandering around Glacier, (Popular Minecraft seed = Glacier) and came up on a spider spawner. I didn't think anything big of it until i opened the 1 and only chest in there, and what i found was a Golden Apple! The first legit Golden Apple i've ever seen in Minecraft. Glacier is truly, a awesome map.

It bugs me that the seeds influence even the contents of chests. I personally would like to be able to use the same map and be able to open a spawner chest and not know what to expect inside. I think there needs to be a bit more independent generation from the map seed on certain things like this.

You do know they can be found in dungeons right?

Nice but I have 3 golden apples in my SSP world... 1 originally golden from a dungeon chest and 2 originally red that i made gold.

That was a wasted 3 hours of my life finding those 144 gold ingots.

Don't say "legit" because it makes you sound like a retard. Use the real word, "legitimate".
