The village here is in the color of that of a taiga village, but it's on a desert biome between plains and mesa.
This village also has a pyramid generated within it. There is no taiga near this village that would cause this.
This village has all of its buildings and the well raised, and its almost entirely on water.
This village is mostly buried in a mesa biome. This village is found to have no villagers. Although it could of been a zombie village, I put this on peaceful. (The torched indicates it's not a zombie village, but I don't know anymore with these villages.)
I think I will call this village "Pompeii".
A taiga village that is very close to the buried mesa village, almost right next to each other. This village stands out because it's the only one found that is "normal".
That is to say, the villages are from a different world, hence the incorrect biome* as well as the wrong height (once the game actually generates a village it records the elevation of each house and it will use this instead of checking the actual ground level).
*It is worth noting that villages can also have the wrong biome in cases where the village well is right next to a different biome due to the way the game checks the biome (using a different point than the one used for the initial biome check for generation), but in this case it would be a default (plains-themed) village.
