I've been looking for a certain type of world for a while now. I'd like a seed that has:
A roofed forest at or near spawn
A dense cave system underneath said roofed forest
Ideally, all essential biomes (plains, forest, snowy, swamp (witch hut included), extreme hills, desert) within a couple hundred blocks and mesa within 2000.
Jungle and mushroom island biomes can be close or far away.
Has anyone seen a seed like this? Am I being too picky? (I'd like to think not)
Frankly, I don't know if there are more than average caves under spawn but you MIGHT want to try "3008004389488646147".
Near spawn is a double deck (one over another) ravine that bottoms out in daylight at Y=11.
That should give you a good start at a mine.
Here's the map.

There are no dangerous weapons. There are only dangerous people. R.A. Heinlein
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
That looks good, but flying around in spectator reveals that it's not quite what I'm looking for. I've lost inspiration in Minecraft and so to get back into it I was planning on doing an Etho-type cave base. Roofed Forest grass is my favorite kind, thus the request. I suppose I can open up to regular forest, or if you know of any world editing software that I can use to make a world with above-average caves.
By the way, I love your two quotes down at the bottom.
Caving took a big hit when PCMCv1.6.4 was superseded. The size of cave systems became smaller.
You might want to use Amidst (see my signature) to do a random search of 1.6.4 worlds that might fit your criteria.
The second statement isn't a quotation but just a play on words of my own.

Yeah, I remember when you could get massive caverns and caves...
Anyway, I've been using Amidst for a couple months now (great tool). I'll do some more searching.
Thanks for your help!
