Experimented a bit again and got something nice. Quick tested on 1.11.2 for a few hours.
Seed: anarcho lava bucket
This spawns you directly afoot a single, massive, partly hollow savannah mountain going straight up to 192 in an otherwise flat landscape. Just turn around and marvel.
The mountain is basically a tiny Savannah M biome adjacent to desert, plains and ocean (on which side it has a nice big waterfall). I found the cave system in and below it very interesting, oftentimes with fallen gravel blocking narrow, steep, heavily interconnected passageways.
Mining spoiler:
There are two intersecting ravines in the middle of it and a (possibly unconnected) mineshaft in the northwest. You will find several diamond veins without digging.
In terms of breedable creatures you have pigs, sheep, cows and at least one chicken. Except of grass, cacti and sugarcane there are no crops in the immediate surroundings.
Here's the map of "anarcho lava bucket" ("-1453932586" numerically)
I haven't created this world yet, but the desert village/desert temple pair at -284, 532 looks interesting.

There are no dangerous weapons. There are only dangerous people. R.A. Heinlein
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
The temple is merged into the village in quite a funny way, as if it belonged there. You can enter it by one of the L-shaped houses.
I'm pondering on starting a creative or survival map here in order to transform the mountain into a monument. Without spoiling too much I can say that early diamonds are possible on this map just by spelunking. Adding that because the nearest villages don't have blacksmiths. You have to travel around 2 km northwest or south for that.
You may want to peek into ravines near villages on occasion. I found one with a nice surprise inside.
