This is, hands down the most useful creation I have ever seen. Especially for testing.
It is a really good idea. It'd make for a good minigame. But it just wouldn't work with this tower. Now if one removed some of the commands it might, but you'd be better off making a different tower from scratch.
To what effect. This doesn't really have any noteable visualness. Practically everything it does is internal and behind the seens. It's best summed up by the features list. Plus the tower isn't exactly a work of art. It's actually quite ugly. It's meant to function not look good.

What exactly do I have to do?... press the button of the first two blocks, then destroy those ...wait a bit then press the other button and destroy the block... now if i look up and go to my inventory what should happen?

Also sometimes (I tried a few things^^) I got options to change the gamemode (Once in red color, once in blue) ...
No problem. My instructions aren't quite perfect. By the looks of it you did everything right. When you look up and open your inventory a text menu should pop up, with the following text in blue:
[game mode] [warp] [weather] [time] [graylist]
If it does then click t to open chat and click on warp. (in some cases this doesn't work. If it doesn't just click warp again.
This'll bring up a couple of destinations. From there just click on where you want to warp to and your off. (as a note the waypoints might not work, but the other warps should.)
Administration section is all the levers and switches etc...
lobby is where the buttons used to be,
and maintenence is the basement where all the command blocks that run this mathingy are.
I really don't know my problem... but i tried to look into it a bit!
The first block seems to work, it puts a redstone block somewhere.
But the second block cannot place its redstone_wire, i tried to locate the spot where the redstone belongs and if I'm right, the block tries to put the redstone directly infront of a repeater on the "game rule & pulsor" layer (in the middle of the room)
I think it cannot place it, because there is allready redstone, i tried to add a third block, so that the first sets the redstone block, the second replacec the available redstone_wire with air, and the third sets the redstone again!
After that it worked... kinda... if i open the inv, it shows me the menu... now everything works except the "wraps" for exapmle if I click "lobby" i get a nice chicken named Lobby in the lobby :DD
the rest prints a line "set score of wrap for player tux192 to 2"
I'm sorry to bother, but i can't get it to work ;( probably if you could tell me where exactly the blocks belong it should work ?!
You could enable and disable MOVEMENT by testing for people's Cordinates and then put them in a scoreboard, If the cords change, You tp them where they where. If I explain myself. ;).
I'm guessing the mob disabler teleports them the the void. It's a great idea, but not the first time I've seen something like this... I think it was Dragonoz on youtube...
