It's simple, sure, but it's not stupid. It's also good for beginners to have videos of simple things like this rather than just stuff like "5x5 infinitely expandable hipster door with three redstone torch keys", as it gives a good useful starting point for making their own redstone mechanisms. It also shows that hoppers take in items with a half-slab above them, which some people might not know.
Do you know this thread is better than any you have ever created and that this post is almost as useless as you are but not quite as bad??
I think what he may have meant to say was that most people in the Redstone section of the forum are quite experienced with Redstone, and something that doesn't add to what many people here expect to see (innovative redstone) might not be placed in the correct section. May I suggest relocating to a section where your tutorial skills or introduction of less advanced concepts may be better appreciated?

If most people in this section are experienced, why do I see "help where do I start"/"help what did I do wrong" threads a lot? Some people are here to learn.

Those people are here to get help in their thread, not to browse and critique other ones, usually. You're certainly correct for some cases. It's really just up o you to decide if those cases are enough. I was only trying to provide you with sufficient information in order to decide that.
Pretty terrible. Not only is it the most obvious use for hoppers it also uses several where just one would do.
The fact that someone would make this and then think its worth making a video about and posting here is ridiculous.
I have no idea why any of you are defending this, there is nothing here that should be encouraged.
I think this is a great video, although simple, it makes up by being short. It's great to have a 1:40 video about something simple for people to see and observe than a drawn out five minute video on something everyone already knows. We all know we've seen videos like that. Great job ET! Haters gonna hate!

These are why all things with upvote systems should also have a downvote system.
Great beginner video, though. Keep working on it.
