So I first started learning how to use redstone about a month ago and this is the first system I've built completely from scratch with no assistance from anyone online or youtube videos or the like. Essentially what it does is take 2 hexadecimal characters as inputs and add them, outputting a sum and a carry. I got the idea in one of Mumbo Jumbo's SciCraft tour videos when they mentioned how you can use signal strength to represent a hexadecimal character as it has 16 values (0-15). I'm sure there are much easier/more compact solutions out there but I'm very happy with the fact I've even managed to get it working to be honest aha.
I've attached some screenshots of it but will also put a world download link below if anyone wants to check it out themselves (you will have to place the levers on the inputs where you want them though)!
Any comments are greatly appreciated!
(P.S. the long redstone lines aren't actually necessary as you would probably use this when taking signal strength from a comparator but I used them for testing/demonstrating how it works)
