Put them in your spawn chunks, they're always loaded. If you don't feel like moving all the stuff there though, you can just go to your command blocks and type in /setworldspawn that I believe sets spawn chunks position to yours.
Ok, thanks for the info. I put my command blocks at 0,0, because I wanted that to be the center of my redstone testing world. I'll do /setworldspawn there then.

Quote from Azulywolf:
Dear Justin Bieber haters,
I owe my life to Justin.
On March 9th, 2013, I was in a coma for 6 months after a terrible car crash.
One day my nurse turned the radio to Justin’s song.
So I got up, and turned the radio off
"When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man whose gonna burn your house down - with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that'll burn your house down!"
I'm trying to make it so if a player holds any torch in any slot it will activate the command block. Heres what i put down: /testfor @a{SelectedItem{id:minecraft:torch}} please tell me what i did wrong
testfor @a {Name:"UnDisguise",Item:nether_star} I'm trying to make something so i can undisguised by holding the item and click a tell raw command I'm holding it and it says flamesparton does not hold the requiered data structure Please help!
k so i don't want to right click it just when u hold it it tells u a tell raw command makes u uninvisable and kills the disguise entity and by any chance using entity data can u take the name tags but it still has the name so it still teleports the entity
It's not working for me. I literally copy and pasted each command into separate command blocks. The /give works well, but /test for doesn't work at all. When I looked in the previous output section of the command block, all it says is: Found DawnToDusk, but the comparator beside the command block doesn't show anything, either. Can anyone help, please?!
(The command I used for /testfor is:
testfor @p {Attributes:[{Base:0d,Name:"generic.knockbackResistance",Modifiers:[{Operation:0,UUIDLeast:1l,UUIDMost:1l,Amount:0d,Name:"generic.knockbackResistance"}]}]}, if that helps)
Thank you. Here is a pic of the command block after I activated the /testfor command:
Hey there, I'm using the new 1.9 tags function for my superpowers map. For some reason it isn't detecting that I'm holding the item. I am using a replace item in a repeat command block to give me the item. Can you tell me if something is wrong please?

However, this method of targeting the player is outdated because we now have the "SelectedItem" compound, which holds a copy of the player's currently-held item (minus the "Slot" tag):
/scoreboard players tag @a[tag=!FL] add FL {SelectedItem:{tag:{display:{Name:"Flight"}}}}

This isn't working for me.
I'm using this command
/give @p bow 1 0 {display:{Name:"Teleportation Bow",Lore:["Teleport to the Arrow in mid-Air"]},AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.knockbackResistance",Name:"generic.knockbackResistance",Amount:255,Operation:0,UUIDMost:35688,UUIDLeast:361707}]}
Is something wrong? Where do I cut it off? Where do I begin? Is it obvious to all but me?

There's a new more efficient method actually just use this instead
/testfor @p {SelectedItem:{I'd:"minecraft:dirt",tag:{display:{Name:"Super Dirt",Lore:[Not your ordinary dirt.]}}}}
/give @p minecraft:dirt 1 0 {display:{Name:"Super Dirt",Lore:[Not your ordinary dirt.]}}

I think this is really neat. Thanks for this thread!
If you want me to reply, please quote me!
/scoreboard players set @a enh 1 {AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.attackDamage",Name:"generic.attackDamage",Amount:2,Operation:0,UUIDLeast:1l,UUIDMost:1l}],display:{Name:crock}}
why dose this not work
go to my youtube where I do advanced command tutorials and show off my maps and one commands
go to my website where all my one commands and maps can be found
and check out my demonic magic vanilla mod

nvm u can still do it but i found a way harder way to do it by killing it and it does it

EDIT:
I have changed my commands to use item names as they are simpler. They are now as follows:
There is currently a bug preventing accurate detection of attribute modifiers, see here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-92921
However, this method of targeting the player is outdated because we now have the "SelectedItem" compound, which holds a copy of the player's currently-held item (minus the "Slot" tag):
