Is there a way to testfor if a cake is placed down, then put an invisible armor stand on it? It inst classified as an entity and yet it's place able, and can be interacted with, also I can't edit the UUID so I can't find it that way, any help?
You can summon an armor stand at it, but there's currently only 1 way to do this.
First, you detect a cake-placing with objective. When detected, you have to run a list of command, where each command tests for a block in a 9x9x9 area with the player as middle (the survival mode block placing range). If a command detects a cake without already an armor stand, it summons a new one at its current pos.
It takes a bit more than 729 commands, so doing this as a datapack is highly suggested.
It sounds crazy but a couple datapacks use this, as it is quite worth it, like a popular silkspawner pack.
Also, it's easy to make an automatic simple program for doing this instantly.
As I use this command system myself, I simply copied one in another datapack and used some ctrl+h. Even faster than building a generator.

Descriptions are in french, you'd just need some google translation copy-paste...
Also made some more or less complicated datapacks, shared here (planetminecraft).
