Hi, I want to create a datapack that creates items at a set location (perhaps by using a spawn egg to somehow designate the location for the items to spawn). I also want this loot to be a set chance for items, so lets say a 90% chance for dirt, 5% for stone, 3% for iron, 2% for enchanted books, etc. There should not be more than one item at a time, and I also want an interval on this of 15 seconds or so per item drop. Is there any way to accomplish what I am looking to do with a datapack? I've been looking around for tutorials but I am having a hard time grasping how to accomplish what I want to do. Any leads would be appreciated.
Rereading this, it comes off as I am looking for someone to create an entire datapack for me. This is not the case, I just want examples of commands that can accomplish exactly what I want. I just don't know where to begin with the commands. Here is a more summarized version of what I want to do:
- a command to spawn items at a set location with a percent chance of being one of 50 or so items, I want diamonds and such to occur 1% of the time and things like stone for example to occur 90% the time. Kind of like lootboxes, where you always get something but the good stuff is rare.
- a way to interval this command and make it occur every 15 seconds or so.
