I created a command that summoned a bunch of armor stands to chain up an enemy, however once chained, its very hard to hit the player because of all the armor stands. Is there anyway to turn off hitboxes, or is it not possible?
You only use the armor stands as invisible entities, right?
If you do, you'll have to use area_effect_clouds instead
In fact, each time you want to use an invisible entity, the area_effect_clouds are a lot better than armor stands, as you can edit their lifetime easily and it's quite smoother

While a good idea, it wont work in my case. How my command works is it summons armor stands with gold blocks on their heads. When spread out closely, it can resemble a chain. However, I can not copy that over to the area_effect_cloud...
Could you try with "Small:1" and the head rotated 180° down for at least minimizing the hitbox?

If you want to remove collision from an armor stand, you should use add the nbt data "Marker:1b" to your armor stand.
