It will create a lot of armor stands and thus summon a lot of tnt and thus knocks players even more. I'm not talking about spamming explosion arrows. Besides, consider the cooldown, the explosion might not stack.
What I'm saying is that entities nearby gets to knock up and back, much further than tnt.
On the other hand, show me the link. I don't feel like you did all 3.

I've already made something called 'sniper' it was a custom bow that shot like a gun. It was pretty easy, but I never uploaded it, the same for my awesome lucky blocks, never uploaded but it was an amazing thing that used not that many commands
if you don't want the 'custom' thing but just do it for every bow you can just put this into a repeating command: /entitydata @e[type=arrow] {NoGravity:1b} (for 1.12 (1.13 xD))

yes I had, but since you can't do sin() and cos() functions you can't calculate the XYZ motion of the arrow in order it will keep flying at the same speed.

Here's 3, give it a shot.
1. Homing arrows
2. Multishot (not just 3 like the crossbow ofc)
3. LARGE knockback explosion arrow
