So I just copy & paste all of that into the command block? Thank you, but I don't know what you're doing with the commands, since I'd have written it myself if I did. Why do I need a scoreboard for the block to take away a wool and give the strings? I'd rather the user of the block just click a button or put the wool block(s) in an attached chest.
I've see requests for a spinning wheel that go back years; I don't get why Mojang seems to ignore suggestions for such a simple and logical feature. It makes more sense to spin wool into yarn than it does to transmute spiderwebs into wool.
No, each line is a separate command block. Create a clock and connect the commands to it. Be sure that the order of execution is retained with the order I wrote the commands. The reason for scoreboards is because you can't target an entity by it's data tag in the commands I am using any other way.The method I provided works anywhere in the world, instead of having a button connected to a command block at only one place where you would have to go. It is also simpler to test for item entities than items in a chest, in my opinion, so I made it that way. It's also more fun to drop it down and watch it turn into string.
This is indeed possible... Oh wait, you want instructions... Oh...
The way it would work would be quite complicated, and I don't really feel like explaining it all (sorry). Although even if I did I'm not sure if you'd understand what I meant...
Basically you'll need damage detection, item selection checking, and setblocks/fill/clone (that's how I would do it anyway, with scoreboards to track target mobs and so on).
If set up properly it could be multiplayer friendly.
I'll leave the actually details of a design to the OP
All those @a's they hurt my poor eyes. I would suggest adding scoreboards so you can track which player used the ability, and replace the @a with an @p with score selector tags. Although I'm not sure whether you could preserve it as a one-block-creation though.
PS: did you use a compiler/tool to create this, or did you write it up manually?

Help me make a bunny that plant the seeds I drop to it. this bunny must stay until given seeds.
also, I play in LAN only and i want to make a /tp book but it will never work because cheats are not allowed. It says "No permission to use command".
Can you also help me make a custom item which if right-clicked on air, will TP me to a specific coordinates.
im sorry, i have zero knowledge on how this stuff works
is it possible to make a sword(or any item really) that can summon a pillar of rocks, wood, dirt{anything natural} when you hit enemies

can you help me make a bunny who would plant seeds for me when I drop seeds on it? (they plant the number of seeds dropped to them only)
You should try making a mini-game-in-a-box (a single-command-block map). They're always fun to make ;]
Thanks for the ideas guys!

i just cheked out your site and i just wanted to say that the stuff is pretty cool
trails over time is the best i think
I would like something: no advanced crafting tables or anything like that.
IT MUST WORK IN SMP
Here is my idea:
Elemental swords, they all do 5 attack damage.
Fire Sword (gold sword): Clicking anywhere places fire. Crafting recipe:
Crafting: Same as a gold sword, except on the top right and top left corners, 2 flint and steels
Earth Sword (wooden sword) Raises the ground 3 blocks when clicked.
Crafting: Same as a gold sword, top right and left corners, 64 dirt each (hehe)
Water Sword (diamond sword) Clicking places water.
Crafting: Same as gold sword, with buckets of water in the top right and left corners.
Crafting: Air Sword (iron sword) Clicking in a direction launches the player 15 blocks in that direction.
Same as gold sword, top right and left corners should have 20 feathers each.
I will add elemental armor later, but I don't have the time. See ya!
