The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Somewhere deep in code.
Okay, so while this isn't actually anything to do with command blocks as such, I think it is fitting that I place it either here or in the map maker's section. I was a little bored so I made this quick tool for changing the code in many command blocks easily. This will be useful for changing score values (score_name & score_name_min) for anything with 'ID' at the end of the score name, but obviously you can alter the regex to your heart's content.
How does it work?
I have this code here as part of a back command system I was working on where each player has their own ID and each Armour Stand has a matching ID to the closet player it was spawned to. It detects all of the blue parts.
The number after the equals can be anything and is replaced with x. Then the command is printed out onto the screen for every number in the range specified (default 1 to 30 inclusive but it could be 5 to 800 etc.).
As you hover over a command it gets highlighted in green so that you can clearly see which one you are looking at. When you click it, a prompt box will come up (which confirms which number command you clicked) - simply Ctrl+C and then press Enter. Now Alt+Tab back to Minecraft where you should have the next command block already open and Ctrl+V. Done!
Note: Clicked commands will become red so that you can easily see that you have already used it. If you don't click it or click it and press cancel it will remove the green highlight. Below of is a picture of it in action! (Click the attackment at the bottom for clear, full size image).
Where can I get it?
P.s. You (and everyone else) are free to use/change it however you wish, just reference me and/or this original post.
