So I've been experimenting with a bit, and I have tried to change the thrower of the object using the entity data command, however when I do that with a potion I throw, the potion instantly breaks. Does anyone know why? Also, I don't seem to be getting the same effect, I used the potion on a creeper with an armor stand's uuid (which was summoned) while in creative mode (so the creeper wasn't tracking me) and the creeper did not attack the armor stand. Despite this, while in survival mode I can hurt a zombiepigman with a potion of healing and the zombiepigman will not agro, not on me, not on the armor stand. Any other information on the subject is also appreciated. Thanks in advance. One question I've had about the whole situation is: can this be used with something besides snowballs and thrown potions? I'm mainly wondering about this because a thrown item also stores a "thrower" data tag, but it doesn't seem to be of any use.
Now that I think about it, if the entity data can change the pearl how you want it, one could teleport a mob with a player thrown enderpearl!
Maybe 'fireball' (it wouldn't be "thrower", but maybe something else)?
